Arajet signs agreement with Centro León to promote cultural and academic exchanges
The agreement was signed by Víctor Miguel Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of the airline; Dr. María Amalia León, president of the Eduardo León Jimenes Foundation; and María Luisa Asilis, executive director of the León Center.
With the agreement, the institutions will implement strategies to provide a cultural experience to Arajet travelers, integrating elements of art and culture that enrich the passenger’s experience.
Pacheco Méndez, said that the purpose of the agreement is to strengthen cultural and educational ties between the participating institutions, as well as to provide passengers with a travel experience enriched with cultural elements that reflect the richness of Dominican art.
Dr. León said that “having an alliance with Arajet makes us feel strengthened in the process of attracting the interest of our Dominican community abroad”. Also present were Otto González, Chief Of Staff, and Lucy Pérez, VP Legal, of Arajet; María Elena Aguayo, executive director of the Eduardo León Jimenes Foundation; Maigualida Pérez, manager of Emisora Raíces; and Sara Hermann, chief curator of the León Center.
Centro León projects supported by Arajet include exhibitions and educational programs that will contribute to the development and visibility of Dominican and Caribbean art and culture.
