Caribbean and Latin American Stakeholders Continue Drive Closer to the European Cruise Market
Miramar, FL (August 28, 2019) – Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), the trade association that represents the mutual interests between destinations and stakeholders in the Caribbean and Latin America and Member Lines that operate 95 percent of the global cruising capacity, is proud to announce its partners for a record third year in the Association’s initiative to connect destination stakeholders with key entities from the European cruise market by coordinating opportunities for meetings, networking, exhibiting and more at Seatrade Europe and beyond.
FCCA’s 2019 Seatrade Europe Partners:
Aruba Tourism & Port Authority / Chukka / Colombia / Colon 2000 / Curacao Ports / Discover Dominica / Dominican Republic / Guadeloupe / Guatemala / Port St. Maarten / St. Maarten Tourism / St. Martin Tourism / Seamore, Cozumel / Aquila
“I am humbled by the record success of our Seatrade Europe Initiative this year, with 75 percent more partners than our first Seatrade Europe in 2017,” said Michele Paige, president, FCCA. “More significant than the actual number is that it represents clear results that past partners have witnessed by working with us in Europe. FCCA’s core mission is built on this mutual success, and we look forward to continuing full steam ahead to doing all we can to help our Seatrade Europe Partners capitalize on this key market.”
In the spirit of its mission to build mutual success, FCCA has again made its Partners the focus of its Pavilion (#608) for Seatrade Europe, taking place in in Hamburg, Germany from Sept. 11-13. Partners will have individual booth space to showcase their products, with all booths featuring private meeting areas where Partners will host meetings that FCCA is coordinating with some of the hundreds of executives from European ocean and river cruise lines in attendance, as well as key stakeholders. FCCA will also organize private networking events, which are expecting dozens of cruise executives gathering with the Partners to develop relationships, understanding and potential business in a comfortable setting.
Additionally, FCCA is working on other initiatives to further the exposure and opportunities for Seatrade Europe Partners both at the event, including distributed materials, and beyond, with the Association’s efforts continuing year-round to follow up on actionable items from prescheduled meetings.
Some of those discussions will also continue at the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show, the largest and only official cruise tourism conference and trade show in the Caribbean, which will feature many of the same cruise executives among the more than 100 expected. Taking place in San Juan, Puerto Rico from Oct. 21-25, the event will offer similar chances for any attendee to target decision makers from FCCA Member Lines during the four-day agenda including meetings – with prescheduled one-on-one meetings available for preregistered Delegates – and workshops, along with networking events open to all attendees and executives.
