Dominican Republic continues to add arrival of cruise passengers

This week the Dominican Republic receives a total of three cruise ships with capacity in general (passengers and crew) of about 14 thousand visitors according to the information collected by Dominican Infotur.

The arrival of cruise ships to Puerto Plata begins on Monday 22 with the arrival of Carnival Breeze with a capacity of 4,428 passengers and 1,386 crew.

Later on Thursday, July 22, two ships arrive at the port, these are: the Carnival Elation, with a capacity of 2,554 passengers and 980 crew members, and the Carnival Conquest with a capacity of 3,581 passengers and 1,150 crew members, thus ending the week, in regarding the arrival of cruise ships to Puerto Plata

In that sense, in Puerto Plata, three ships with a maximum capacity of 10,563 passengers and 3,516 crew members are scheduled this week, totaling 14,079 visitors.

While La Romana does not have scheduled cruise arrivals for this week.

In this way, Dominican Infotur, according to the information collected from the companies and ports, confirms that for this week the country will receive three cruise ships with a maximum capacity of 10,563 passengers and 3,516, crew, totaling 14,079 visitors.

It is important to note that not all cruise passengers and crew descend from the ships, so Dominican Infotur always cites the maximum capacity of the ships that dock at the destinations of the Dominican Republic.
