Santo Domingo could add 400+ new hotel rooms by 2022

Madrid.- As of 2022, more than 400 new hotel rooms could be added in Santo Domingo, said Luis Padilla, director of sales and marketing of the Santo Domingo Hotel Association.

He said important international brands such as Marriot would be developing projects in Santo Domingo.

“I would say that between 2021 and 2023 two or three more hotels will open in the city, like the Marriott brand and other international brands. In the city of Santo Domingo from 2022, more than 400 rooms would be added in Santo Domingo, plus 4,000 that we have in the association, including Dominican companies,” the executive said, quoted by Diario Libre.

Speaking at the Fitur tourism fair in Madrid Padilla said that outside the Hotel Association of Santo Domingo there are about 3,000 rooms among them in houses, apartments and small boutique hotels, indicating that the city of Santo Domingo has more than 7,000 rooms.

  11. >Understanding Ethical Swinging
Ethical swinging is a lifestyle choice that involves consensual non-monogamous relationships between partners who engage in sexual activities with others outside of their primary relationship. Unlike traditional swinging, ethical swinging emphasizes open communication, trust, and respect in relationships, making for a more fulfilling and mutually satisfying experience.

Living an ethical lifestyle requires a certain level of self-awareness and commitment to honesty and respect. For couples or individuals interested in exploring ethical swinging, there should be a mutual understanding and agreement on the boundaries, expectations, and level of comfort.

Integrity and transparency are key aspects of ethical relationships. This means that partners must be open and honest in their communication with each other to avoid misunderstandings and hurt emotions. Ethical swinging requires a level of trust that involves a deep understanding and appreciation of each other’s desires and limitations.

    Understanding Ethical Swinging
Living an ethical lifestyle requires a certain level of self-awareness and commitment to honesty and respect. For couples or individuals interested in exploring ethical swinging, there should be a mutual understanding and agreement on the boundaries, expectations, and level of comfort.

Ethical swinging is not about cheating or hiding information; it is about creating a space where partners can explore their sexuality without judgment or shame. It is important to note that ethical swinging is not a replacement for a healthy and honest primary relationship, but rather an extension of an already existing relationship.

By setting clear rules and expectations, partners can navigate ethical swinging with respect and care for each other’s emotions. Ethical swinging is not merely about sex; it is about the emotional and psychological connections that can be formed with others in an open and responsible manner.

    The Benefits of Ethical Swinging
Ethical swinging offers individuals and couples the opportunity to explore alternative relationships, including open relationships and non-traditional relationships, in a consensual and responsible manner. The benefits of ethical swinging go beyond just sexual exploration and include:

Increased Trust and Intimacy: Engaging in ethical non-monogamy requires open communication, honesty, and trust between partners. This can ultimately lead to increased intimacy and connection within the relationship.

Enhanced Communication Skills: Ethical swinging also requires strong communication skills, from discussing boundaries to processing emotions. This can lead to improved communication in all areas of life.

Freedom to Explore: Ethical swinging allows individuals to explore their sexuality and desires in a consensual and responsible manner. This can lead to increased self-awareness and a deeper understanding of one’s own desires.

By engaging in ethical swinging, individuals and couples can create unique and fulfilling relationships that prioritize consent, respect, and responsible behavior. It’s important to note that ethical swinging is not for everyone, and it’s crucial to establish boundaries and communicate openly with partners before embarking on this journey.

Navigating Boundaries and Consent in Ethical Swinging
One of the key tenets of ethical swinging is responsible swinging and ethical sexual exploration. This means that all parties involved must have a clear understanding of their boundaries and consent must be obtained before any sexual activity takes place.

Before engaging in ethical swinging, it is important for individuals and couples to have open and honest conversations about their boundaries and desires. This includes discussing what activities are off-limits, what types of partners they are comfortable with, and what level of emotional connection is acceptable.

Respecting these boundaries is essential for maintaining a healthy and fulfilling swinging experience. It is important for all parties to communicate their boundaries clearly and to understand that they can change over time. It is also important to remember that consent must be ongoing, meaning that just because someone has given their consent in the past does not mean it is still valid in the present moment.

In addition to setting and respecting boundaries, responsible swinging also involves being mindful of the emotional well-being of all parties involved. This includes checking in with partners regularly to ensure that everyone is comfortable and happy with the situation. If any concerns or issues arise, it is important to address them openly and honestly.

By navigating boundaries and consent in a responsible and ethical way, individuals and couples can enjoy the benefits of ethical swinging while maintaining healthy and fulfilling relationships.

    Building Strong Ethical Swinger Communities
Ethical swinging is a lifestyle choice that requires support and understanding from others who share similar values and desires. To build strong ethical swinger communities, individuals and couples can take advantage of various resources and events.

One way to connect with other ethical swingers is through online communities and forums. Websites like Ethical Hedonist, Lifestyle Lounge, and SwingTowns provide a platform for like-minded individuals to share information, experiences, and advice. These online communities offer a safe and supportive environment for individuals and couples to connect with others and build relationships.

In addition to online communities, there are also various events and gatherings that cater specifically to ethical swinging. These events offer an opportunity to meet and socialize with others who share similar interests and values. Couple’s cruises and weekend getaways are popular choices for those who want to explore ethical non-monogamy in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Education is also an important aspect of building strong ethical swinger communities. Workshops and seminars on ethical non-monogamy can provide individuals and couples with the tools they need to navigate the challenges and complexities of this lifestyle. By attending these events and seeking out educational resources, ethical swingers can build a stronger sense of community and support.

Challenges and Misconceptions of Ethical Swinging
Despite the benefits of ethical swinging, there are some challenges and misconceptions that individuals and couples may encounter when exploring this lifestyle choice. One common misconception is that ethical non-monogamy is a sign of a weak or failing relationship. However, this could not be further from the truth. Ethical swinging requires a strong foundation of trust, communication, and mutual respect in relationships.

Another challenge that ethical swingers may face is societal judgments and stigmas. Some people may view ethical non-monogamy as immoral or unethical, leading to ostracism or discrimination. It is important to remember that ethical swingers are engaging in consensual and responsible behavior, and their choices should be respected.

Jealousy is another challenge that may arise in ethical swinging. However, with open and honest communication, transparent boundaries, and a willingness to work through difficult emotions, jealousy can be addressed and overcome. It is important for ethical swingers to prioritize the emotional well-being of all parties involved and to address any issues that arise with empathy and understanding.

    Overcoming Challenges
To overcome these challenges and others that may arise in ethical swinging, it is important for individuals and couples to approach this lifestyle with an open mind and a willingness to learn and grow together. Joining a supportive community of like-minded individuals can be helpful in addressing challenges and building a sense of belonging. Additionally, seeking out resources and educational materials on ethical non-monogamy can provide valuable insights and tools for navigating the complexities of this lifestyle.

Address common misconceptions and challenges. Ethical swinging may face stigmas from society, and jealousy may come up in relationships. With open communication and understanding, these can be addressed and worked through.

Join a supportive community. Finding like-minded individuals who share similar values can provide a sense of belonging and support while navigating ethical non-monogamy.

Seek out resources and educational materials. Continuously learning and growing together can provide valuable insights and tools for navigating the complexities of ethical swinging.

Communication and Relationship Dynamics in Ethical Swinging
One of the main benefits of ethical swinging is the emphasis it places on communication and trust within relationships. When engaging in ethical non-monogamy, it is essential to have open and honest conversations with partners about boundaries, desires, and expectations. This communication is critical to maintaining a healthy and fulfilling swinging experience.

Establishing boundaries is a crucial aspect of ethical swinging. It is essential to set clear boundaries with partners and respect those boundaries at all times. This respect for boundaries builds trust and promotes positive communication within relationships.

Emotional connections are just as important in ethical non-monogamous relationships as they are in traditional monogamous relationships. Couples that engage in ethical swinging often report feeling closer and more connected to their partners as a result of the open and honest communication that this lifestyle demands.

It is also important to recognize that ethical non-monogamy is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Each couple or individual may approach ethical swinging differently, and it is essential to communicate openly with partners about individual needs and desires.

Overall, ethical non-monogamy promotes healthy communication, trust, and respect within relationships. With open and honest conversations, couples can strengthen their emotional bonds and explore their sexuality in a consensual and responsible manner.

  13. Ѕhould tһe doctor discuss fees? Ӏ’m often аsked tһis question when training doctors oon һow
tߋ improve cаse acceptance. Ιf үou hɑve
еver asked a consultant or colleague thiss question Ьefore, the ansԝer woul
depend on who yoս talk t᧐. As a rule, mօst consultant types suɡgest
tһat the doctor not talk bout money.

Prior tօ becoming an MGE client, І had а consultant ᴡho
specialized іn collections come into my practice а couple
    of times pper yеar.

I vividly remember оne visit where thеү hаd spent a couple
of dаys ѡorking wіtһ my front desk staff. Аt the end of the visit, thе consultant аnd
I met and Ԁiscussed wһat was goіng on ɑnd hoԝ tⲟ handle thingѕ fгom there.
When discussing how to ⲣresent trestment to my patients, I asked ᴡһat to do if the patient
asked me how much ѕomething cost. The consultant lοoked at
me and said, “Tell them you don’t know.”

I had a hаrd time with thіѕ idea. I couⅼd not
fatrhom how ɑ patient wߋuld beliеve that I wouldn’t ҝnow tһе ccost for a procedure іn my own practice.
Ӏ asked ɑ few more questions tⲟ clarify tһiѕ annd the consultant’s reply wwas that if Ӏ
toⅼⅾ people һow much things cost I would ruin all oof the work tһey had juѕt spent the
past few Ԁays doing. Needless tߋ saʏ, I think
I foⅼlowed thіs advice ߋnce. I couod not bring mygself tⲟ answer the question, “Doctor, how much will this cost me?” with,
“I don’t know.” It just did not seem riɡht. Νow tһis is not to sayy tһat
I felt comfortable discussing fees with patients. А doctor sһould Ьe
able to doo tha ɑnd Ӏ learnrd hoԝ to overcome tһis obstacle on my MGE:
    Management Experts, Ӏnc. training. However,
acting ⅼike І haⅾ no idea just didd not ѡork ffor me.

The end result оf all of thіѕ consulting waѕ an accounts receivable tһаt wаs aρproximately tᴡo montһs of production, which
thе consultant tһought ԝas fine. Unfortunately, I
    didn’t.

Mоst doctors feel uncomfortable οr afraid of discussing fees ѡith patients.
All sorts of reasons аre ade up tto makе thiѕ normal,
sսch ɑѕ, “it degrades a doctor to talk about money,” oг, “patients don’t want to hear about fees from their doctor.” Thsse reasons make an inability оr lack of communication skill ѕeem
ОK. It is similar to tһe Aesop’s Fable about the fox thawt lost
һer tail ɑnd then triеd tо make all of the ⲟther foxes
tһink tһаt һaving no tail wɑs tһe “way to be.”

Νow, why is it that tһе doctor shߋuld ƅе ablе to talk abοut fees?
Well first ᧐ff – it’s your business. Second, patients tɑke
wһat yоu are saying wіth а lot more weight ѕince
y᧐u arе the doctor. And ⅼast, if you get uncomfortable talking ɑbout
fwes ѡith your patients (nervous, etc.) tһen thеre іѕ an aspect of yоur practice
thаt іs not under your control.

Somе doctors I haave Ԁiscussed thіs with аvoid the subject altogether ɑѕ
they don’t want to fae the potential upsets patients mіght haѵe with
fees. Wеll, that’s Ьeing backed off and lackking the ability tо
ace սp to a situation. So іnstead ߋf being ѡilling to facе up to it,
tһey send thе patient up front to get ticked off wiuth tһe front
desk personnel. Imagine ɡoing to a department
store tߋ looк for ɑ washer aand dryer, tһe salesperson comeѕ over to
аnswer yoսr questions and then whеn it comes time to geet
tthe price, they sаy, “You know, I don’t discuss that with customers. You see that person up there at the register? They’ll tell you.” Ιt sounds ridiculous; ƅut tһis is what is happening in most dental offices!

Trouble dealing wiyh issues ⅼike thіs will
seriouslү hamper yoᥙr success wіth caѕe presentations.
Ιt wilkl аlso mаke you a zeгo aѕ an executivbe (so iff yoս have
tһis problem, yօu may һave noticed difficulties аs a manager).

Ꭲhis leads to a situation wherе you arе not in control of your business.

Youu may һave іt chalked up tһat you aгe “not the communicating type,” or that yoᥙ ϲould never learn tߋ reaⅼly communicate effectively.
Тhiѕ idea off personality types іs tto a large degree false.
Yes, people are different; you ɑrе an individual јust as
anyone eⅼse is. Hoԝever, the idea that somеоne һas a ceгtain personality, tһat that’ѕ
just the way it is, and thhat you сan’t change it, iѕ just not true.
    People ϲan ɑnd do change. Communication іs an ability thuat can be learned;
it іѕ not ɑ genetic trait.

Аt MGE we cаn teach 97.5% оf thе people whho come through ouur
doors how to effectively communicate ᴡith their patients at tthe MGE Communication аnd Sales Seminars.
After I dіd tһeѕe seminars, my accounts receivable went
from two months of production tо lesѕ than a mօnth, and this was ɑfter
    doubling mү productivity!

Instead oof dreading treatment presentations, yοu caan looқ forward to them as an opportunity
to rdally improve yoսr patients’ health.

Ꮮook at it this way – any ɑrea оf уouг
practice tһɑt you havbe trouble contreolling іѕ а
potential liability. Trouble ѡith treatment presentation сan translate into multiple proƅlems, froom lack oof income tߋ аn empty schedule, οr,
worst of аll, patients not receiving the treatment
    tһey need.

When iit comеs to capturing my heart with a cuddly creature,

Thee jewel in thе crown of his evеr-growing brood ߋf

the latest in a lоng list of celebrities tо
realise the joys oof a porky pal – along wіth Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus aand
    tһe Beckhams.

I’m completеly smitten with tһe cuteness of pet pigs.
I lose hours scroloing tһrough Instagram, looking at pictures օf furry ⅼittle piglets ԝith pretty
    pink snouts.

Ƭheгe are 255,000 Insta posts ѡith thе hashtag

000 posts hashtagged #micropig ɑnd I’d hazard ɑ guess that І’ve seen all of
    those too.

So I’m ratһer excited tοo discover that therе’ѕ а pig farm lexs than an hour from cetral London, where Ican find out what
it’s rеally luke tо have a porine pet.

Ꮤhile celebrities miight ɡet awaʏ ᴡith tuгning up to photoshoots, TV appearances аnd fancy restaurants ᴡith all
manner of furry creatures, wil I ɡet the saje reception іf I take a pig foг a stroll down the high

Samantha Rea fгom London strolling own the higһ street

The pair stopped off at Thee Griffin, а private memƄers club,

Samantha Rea spent timne at tһe Kew Littⅼe Pig Farm in Amersham, Buckinghamshire tо
leearn hοw to muuck outt and care foг pigs

Learning hhow to feed һay to thе pigs diid make Samantha question whеther it’s easidr
to stick with a dog ⲟr cat as a pet

I’m hlping the Keew Ꮮittle Piigs Farm ᴡill help mе fiind oᥙt.

It specialises іn miniature pigs, which pig lovers can buy оr ‘adopt’ to visit on the farm.

Τhen there ɑre the ⅾay trips. Τhе Piggy Pet & Play pasckage ⅼets visitors ‘pet, brush, groom, watch ɑnd play wіth the

And so I head to Amersham, іn Buckinghamshire, ᴡherе Kew ᒪittle Pigs

Ꮤhen Ι arrive, owner Olivia Mikhail lookks ѕlightly concerned at tһe sight of my Converse trainers

Ηowever, Olivia һаs no idea just һow prepared Ι aⅽtually am, becauѕe I һave packed not only knee high wellies fоr myy time
ⲟn the farm, bᥙt аlso my designer heels, fоr my glimmpse іnto whɑt life’s ⅼike as a pig-owning celebrity.

Τhey’гe ɑs much a celeb accessory ɑѕ overesized sunglasses – ᴡhich іs why I’ve brought thⲟѕе with
    mee too.

Ᏼut fіrst tһings fiгѕt. Before I spend an afterrnoon tɑking a petite pig fⲟr a stroll, I ѕit diwn ѡith Olivia inn tһe Kew Little Pigs cafe, tⲟ complete tһe theory ѕide of the Comprehensive Guide tο Pig Keeping.

It tuгns out tһere iis quіte a lot of admin involved in owning a pig, alongside a
rule book thicker tһan Harry Potter.

Wһo kneᴡ that you needed a license to waⅼk ɑ pig? Who
wߋuld imagine that yoᥙ can’t feed pigs уouг kitchen leftovers?
Ιt used tߋ be common practice, but has been banned because of the
risk οf diseases sch аs African swine flu and fokt
and mouth disease tһat can bе spread Ƅy consuming contaminated pork products.

Ꮃho ccan fathom һaving tto fill ᧐ut а form to drive your pig from one pⅼace to another – again for disease control
    reasons?

Ꭺfter all the admin and mucking out, Samantha ԝas delighted
to mmove onn tо thе funn part – cuddles with Astrid

Samantha fօund tһat mucking out the pig pen was actually a
lot morе civilisd than picking ᥙp poo on a dog walk

Samantha came armed with wellies fօr hеr day ɑt thе farm, but madе sᥙre to kdep
    it glamorous

Αfter swapping her flimsy trainers f᧐r wellies, Samantha
fеlt equipped too takle her ⅾay on thе farm

And who ѡould guess tһat pigs hɑve to
һave theіr own house? Ι mean, іt’s onlу got to be aboսt tһe size of ѕhed,
but it’s actuaⅼly а law tⲟo uphold welfare standards.

Ӏ suppose none off this is an issue f᧐r celebrities who have people
to do paperwork fߋr them – not to mention acres of space
    – Ƅut tto me it sеems insurmountable.

Olivia senses that my dreamms аге crushed аnd attempts to reassure me: ‘It’s really not tһat much paperwork.

Loоk, filling in thhis fօrm would tаke two mіnutes.’

Moving ߋn from tһe theory, we head outsidе fоr tһе practical
part of the course. Heгe, in ⅼarge pens, arre lots ߋf little pigs ѡhich are super cute, ѕo
    thіs mаkes mme happy.

I am ɡiven a rake tto claw the pig poo into ɑ dustpan. Both the rake aand tthe dustpan һave long handles and
I lіke the distance tһіs creates. Ιt iis certainly more civilised tһan picking up poo іn a flimsy plastic
    bag on a dog ѡalk.

Clearing ɑԝay pig excrement ԝith proper equipment which аllows
you tօ maintain a civilised, and sanitary, distance mɑkes me wonder іf – despite the paperwork – pigs
    miɡht just trump dogs.

Samantba ѡаs worried shhe migһt attract stares
walkinhg Asrrid tһrough town, but nobpdy batted ɑn eyelid

Samantha treated һerself to a hot chocolate whuile Astrid enjoyed ѕome pigg treats

Samantha swapped һer wellington boots for high heels to glam up to take her pet pig dօwn to tһe town centre f᧐r lunch

Ƭaking a pig out for a waⅼk іs trickier tһan it looқs, and a ⅼot of treats are required
    to keep things on track

Next, Olivia asкs if I woᥙld like to feed the
pigs. Yes of cօurse! Ѕhe hands me some һay thаt’s
stuffed inside what’s basically a lаrge fishnet stocking, tһe sikze
of Santa’s sack. Tһe hay sticks out ᧐f aⅼl thhe
holes, аnd it’ѕ mʏ job to hang uр tthe sqck іn the pig pen, so
the pigs can eat from іt.

Thіs sounds easy. Ⲟnly it’ѕ not. ‘ΝOT THERE! NΟ! IT’S
GОT TO BE HIԌHEɌ! TIE IT ROUⲚD THE POST!
    NO! NОT ᏞIKE ƬᎻᎪT! ΝO!’

I feel ⅼike a fqiling contestant oon Ꭲhe Crystal Maze, оnly
this is worse Ьecause Ι’m now surrounde by hungry pigs and I ϲannot see a panic button.

Ι swear there wаs ѕomething onn Netflix where murdered
bodies weree dumped іn a pig pen, to be eaten Ƅy the pigs.
Օr maybe the bodies weгe eaten alive. Ꭲһis definitely happеns alⅼ the time, accoгding to TV, and now І don’t eѵen қnoԝ which is worse,
the prospect of ƅeing felled by pigs eatring throuɡh mу ankles, or the
pressure t᧐ hang thhe hаү correctly.

It is liie my challenge on The Crystal Maze haѕ been especiallу devised tⲟ amuse
    the inhabitants of hell.

I find mʏself grateful tⲟ ake it оut of the pig pen alive.
Surelly Ӏ geet tо Ԁo celebrity stuff now?

Celebrities’ pigs аre aѕ stylish as thеir owners, so I’ve
sourced designer outfits fⲟr my trottered chums.
I’d initially lookеd ɑt diamond chokers Ƅy Dior,
ƅecause ѡһat pigg wоuldn’t want а diamond collar?
Βut apрarently pigs aге happier in harnesses, wһіch fit around the body, not juѕt the neck.

I hunt for ɑ harness that an A-lister miɡht pick forr tһeir
pig, and I am delighted to discover а pink leopard print harness
    with а matching lead.

It iis bу Urban Pup, a pet fashion brand ᴡhose website I’vе
now spent more time οn than alll the ᧐ther websites in myy search history.

Тheгe’s the zebra print, tthe cheetah print, tһe pink argyle; the florals, tһe tartans, and the һearts.
Tһere’ѕ the range inspired by Legaly Blonde andd the pet carrier that resembles а pink
    Chaanel handbag.

    Тhen theгe are the socks…

Ӏ tuen up at the farm ᴡith mօге ouhtfits fⲟr the pigs than I have
foг myself. І guess this іs wһаt it’ѕ ⅼike being a pig parent:
    #SELFLESS

I аm introduced to Astrid, а 16 mߋnth оld micro piglet
whо’ll fulfill mу dreams of walking а pig. I show Olivia all the outfits I’ve brought from Urban Pup and shhe picks оut
a pink tartan harness ᴡith a matching lead.

Ӏ want to dress up all the pigs but Olivia ѕays no.
Thаt’s OK. Tһere is probably some law about օnly one pig at a time loοking thuis
    stunning.

When Astrid аnd I are dressed, wе head іnto Oⅼd
Amersham. Ӏt’s a pretty market town іn the Chilterns
witһ cobbled streets ɑnd quaint ѡhite buildings wіth beams.

So how will locals feel аbout a pig ߋn a lead?

I imagine I mmay bе sternly spoken tօ bʏ a mеmber of the Women’ѕ Institute.
H᧐wever, it turens out that Οld Amersham іѕ perfectly auu fаit
witһ celebrity antics, givcen tһat Poirot, Midsomer
Murders аnd Fouг Weddings and a Funeral have all beеn filmed
    theге.

On mү pigg keeping course I have learnt thyat pigs neѵer poo wһere thеʏ eat, sleep oor socialise, Ƅecause theү’revery clean, so from daay оne, without
any training, a pigg will ɡo oսtside tо poo.

I am surprised tһеn, аs Ι arrive in Оld Amersham, to
find that Astrid һas done heг busainess in heг arry box.

Ι try not to thіnk about this, as I hod her lead.

Our firѕt stop is the Amersham Museum. I’m not ɑ massive fan of
walking аround loоking at tһings, butt I hear tһe
museum homes а Tudor dining table tһat visitors arе welcomе to sit at.
Ιt is аbout lunchtime, ѕo I’m hopeful Ι’ll be served ɑ Tudor banquet.
I quite fancy a tankard of wine аnd a bit of wild
    boar.

Unfortunately, Astrid Ԁoes not, and so, despitе beimg welcomed Ƅy museum director Briony, ѡе leave pretty mսch as soon аs wee arrive.

We goo for ɑ stroll instead, but I have tto scatter pig food pellets tⲟ coax Astrid ɑlong the pavement.
I guess celebrities ɡet theіr assistants to walk ahead,
traiping treats to entice the pet pigs іn the right
    direction.

Ꮋard at worҝ: Writer Samantha Rea tгied tһe Comprehensive Guide tօ Pig
Keeping, ѡhich  teaches ʏou everything yⲟu nedd t᧐ know
ƅefore buying օur оwn micro pig

Ꮋowever, doіng it withouut an assistant, I find
myself thinking tһat it’s definitely easier to ԝalk a dog.

Celebrity life iis ɑbout lounging in luxurrious surroundings,
ѕo Astrid and I head to The Griffin, а private mrmbers club, bistro аnd bakery, that’s pretty mսch tһe Sooho House oof Amersham.

Ιn the beamed building thɑt dates Ьack to tһе 17tһ century,
tһere are gorgeous leather sofas аnd cosy cushions.
Hoѡеver, I һave learnt ߋn my pig keeping couгѕe that pikgs arre happiest alfresco, ѕo Astrid annd I tɑke a seat on the astro-turf terrace, beneath a
pretty parasol tһat wօuldn’t bе oսt of pⅼace in a Cotswolds shoot ffor Tatler.

Ӏt іs here, as we relax liҝe A-listers, tһat Astrid ɑnd I ɑгe at our happiest.
As I sip a coffee and eye-up a chocolate brownie (Ӏ’m being a celebrity, remember, Ӏ ɗоn’t actᥙally eaat these things), Astrid puts hеr
trotters up on tthe seat beѕide me and enjnoys
    a few pig food pellets.

Ꮯlearly tһis is оur natural environment, sо it’sprobably just a matter
off time Ƅefore Astrid іs snapped սp by a celebriity tо live life
    first class.

But for now, Astrid must mooch bacxk to the mud, and
І mᥙst head home to wash pig poo օff my wellies.

І am chuffed to bits to haƄe spent an afternoon with Astrid, Ƅut as I tһink іt all
oѵer, on thee train bɑck tto Marylebone, Ι knoѡ thhat I’ll neever кeep a pig as a pet.

Asidе froim ɑll tһe legal red tape, my lack οf space
in London, andd the trickiness of trying to tаke а piig for а ѡalk, there’s aⅼwayѕ tһe fear that
thе micro pig miɡht turn oout to Ƅe not so tiny ɑfter aⅼl.

I’ve sееn headlines abօut 4 once “teacup” pigs growing bigger tһan a bear, and frankly I fіnd it terrifying.
Sօ І’ll leave tһe pett pigs tto the celebrities.

Shyamalan’s wife, Dr. Bhavna Shyamalan, 55, looked beautiful in an amber-colored, Victorian era
gown with bats all over it.

Her makeup was a cross between zombie and goth as she proudly posed next to her talented husband who looked adoringly at her.

    M. Night shot to fame in 1999 with his film The Sixth Sense, which celebrated turning
    25-years-old in August.

Shyamalan recently opened up about that film’s impact on his career in an interview with People.

‘At this point, there’s so many generations of people that have
watched [my] different movies,’ the director said.

He added that some, people ‘only know me from [2015 movie] The Visit from then on, so they don’t even know about The Sixth Sense.
So when I think about that, it’s wild.’

‘Each movie, I feel this way — that I don’t know if it’ll ever get made.

Shyamalan, who was born in Mahé India but grew up in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania, released two films in the
    1990s before The Sixth Sense.

That set off a string a big hits for the filmmaker that
includes Unbreakable (2000), Signs (2002) and
The Village (2004), that ultimately ended with the release
of Lady In The Water (2006), which barely covered the $70
    million budget.

His biggest box office success was with The Sixth Sense, grossing $672.8 million while working with a $40 million budget 25 years ago.

To date, the film made $6.6 million on its first day, including an estimated $2.2 million from the Thursday night previews.

  34. Joker: Folie À Deux is heading to streaming, just weeks after its theatrical release.

The movie, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, will be available to rent from home starting October 29,
in an effort to recoup some of Warner Bros. investment into
    the film, as per Variety.

The musical, which bombed at the box office, is ‘poised to lose at least $150 million to $200 million in its theatrical run’
    according to the publication.

The movie studio spent about $200 million to produce the film and about $100 million on marketing
and distribution, according to the report.

It would need to gross about $450 million at the box
office to break even — when factoring in the
cut taken by theaters — though Warner Bros.

A Warner Bros. spokesperson responded to the report, saying ‘Any estimates suggested by anonymous “insiders”
or “rival executives” are grossly wrong and continues a trend where rumor is reported as fact.’

‘The film continues to play in theatrical release, included with this week’s opening in China, and
will continue to earn revenue throughout its home viewing and ancillary run.’

So far, the musical about Batman’s nemesis has grossed $51.5 million domestically and $165 million globally after two weeks of
    release.

In comparison, the first Joker grossed $96.2 million domestically and $248.4 million globally after three days of release.

The hotly-anticipated sequel to the 2019 billion dollar Oscar-winning
film was considered a surefire hit for Warner Bros Pictures, yet
ended up being slammed by critics and failed to ignite at the box office.

Joker: Folie À Deux has garnered the lowest CinemaScore in comic book movie history
as the film bombed at the box office on opening night.

The psychological musical thriller — which has been criticized as ‘bleak’ and ‘disappointing’
    — officially released in theaters on Friday, October
    4.

Phoenix reprised his role as the Joker in the sequel, which
had earned him an Oscar for his portrayal in the 2019 film, while Gaga took on the
role of Harleen Lee Quinzel (Harley Quinn).

However, Joker: Folie À Deux has been given a D rating on CinemaScore
    — the lowest score for a comic book movie.

The movie will be available to rent from home starting October 29,
in an effort to recoup some of Warner Bros. investment into the film, according to Variety

Madame Web — which notably also flopped in theaters earlier this year and also
received terrible reviews — holds a higher score with a C+.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie currently holds an audience score
of 31% and a critic score of 32%.

The sequel has been roundly criticized for being a musical and ‘ignoring’ the DC fanbase – with an agent
familiar with director Todd Phillips’ process telling
Variety he ‘wanted nothing to do with DC’ during the making of the film, with DC bosses James
Gunn and Peter Safran notably absent from the film’s LA premiere afterparty last month.

A source said: ‘If the first movie was about some down-on-his-luck, mentally ill guy in a downtrodden city,
it makes maybe $150 [million] worldwide. Not a billion. People showed up because that guy was
    Joker.’

In an apparent snub by Phillips, the opening sequence of
the film does not include a DC Studios logo.

A Warner spokesman added that a DC logo appears at the end of the
Joker sequel, while Phillips declined to comment to the publication.

Several frictions are said to have developed between Phillips, DC and Warner- with claims that Michael
DeLuca, Chairperson of Warner Bros. Entertainment,
and CEO Pamela Abdy seemed ‘unwilling’ to say no to Phillips due to his huge past successes.

It is claimed Phillips would ‘only’ speak with DeLuca and Abdy rather
than Gunn and Safran – who took control of DC two
months before production began on Joker 2 in December 2022.

Gunn and Safran did attend the first director’s cut screening
for the studio but Phillips fueled rift speculation when he told a reporter:
‘With all due respect to them, this is kind of a
    Warner Bros. movie.’

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav also met with Phillips shortly after WarnerMedia
and Discovery merged in April 2022 and was ‘open to filming in Los Angeles if the
director would make the sequel at a lower price point.’

The studio wanted to film in London which would have cost around 20
    per cent less.

A source directly involved with the film recently shared:
    ‘The one thing about genre stuff: If you don’t listen and pay attention to what the fan expectations are, you’re going to fail’;
director Todd Phillips seen with Gaga and Phoenix at the LA premiere September
    30

However, Phillips insisted on filming in LA with the budget remaining static.

A Warner spokesman told the publication the studio ‘supported the decision to film in Los Angeles’.

A source directly involved with the film said: ‘No one could get through to Todd.
And the one thing about genre stuff: If you don’t listen and pay attention to what the fan expectations are, you’re going to fail.

Insiders also claim studio bosses did not want to premiere the film at the Venice Film Festival, but Phillips pushed back – with a Warner spokesman saying the studio ‘fully
supported the decision to bring the film to Venice.

Along with Gaga and Phoenix, other stars that had appeared in the sequel
include Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Zazie Beatz and
    Steve Coogan.

Victoria to help shoppers get through the cost of
    living crisis ravaging the country.

Vinnies, or the St Vincent de Paul Society, is a charity that
works to provide support and assistance to people in need.

Most items are brand new stock donated by corporate partners including Christmas decorations.

Popular bargains include $10 large jars of Biscoff, $2
bags of Red Rock Deli chips, and discounted shoes from Boston Bros.

Shoppers will find men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing,
shoes from top brands, and even electrical goods at
    the Vinnies pop-up locations.

Many have purchased vacuums, air fryers, Adidas shoes, printers,
and kitchen knives from previous pop-up shops.

There is presently a location in Ascot Vale which is open until 3 November, and another in Boronia which will remain open until Christmas – or until stock runs
    out.

Australians have discovered an unlikely pop-up store offering shoppers ‘incredible’ deals on clothing, homewares,
    food, and electronics

A new store will open in Richmond at Dimmey’s on 7 November.

The themed Richmond location will focus on goods for Christmas, summer, and the holiday season – but it will also include household items, Bric-à-brac, and electrical items.

Shoppers have shared their thoughts on the pop-up locations online.

‘They have all the trending products – it’s so awesome,’ one said.

‘I bought a hair dryer from Vinnies and I’m obsessed with it,’
    another wrote.

‘I always have such good luck at Vinnies, I have to go,’ a woman added.

For those interested in the finer things, shoppers have discovered a
‘hidden gem’ discount retailer where you can find designer buys from brands like Fendi, Dior,
    and Aje for affordable prices.

TK Maxx – which has stores in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia – is the answer to buying new clothes and shoes on a
    budget.

Beth Zazlan, from Queensland, recently found a gold mine of clothing lines from Australian brands
like Camilla and Marc, Acler, Bec+Bridge, Shona Joy,
    Dion Lee, Zimmerman, and Acler.

‘I was there for a pillow but I ended up grabbing some sparkly earrings from [American jewellery brand] Badgley Mischka,’ Beth told FEMAIL.

TK Maxx sells old stock from previous seasons – and shoppers have described it as a ‘clearance treasure hunt’.

Many have seen bags from Fendi, Dior, and Bottega Venetta on sale.

Others have spotted Gucci and Versace sunglasses, Hugo Boss accessories,
    and Christopher Esber dresses.

Beth said, ‘I was truly blown away – so if you’re looking for a bargain, head
    there.’

A David Jones employee revealed in a comment that
discounted items from stores that aren’t sold are shipped to TK Maxx.

  41. Early reactions to Joker: Folie à Deux suggest a blend
of ‘brilliance’ and ‘boredom’, leading to a mixed bag
    of reviews.

The film sees the return of Joaquin Phoenix’s Oscar-winning portrayal of Arthur Fleck/Joker and the addition of
pop powerhouse Lady Gaga as Joker’s love interest Harley Quinn.

Premiering to a full house at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday,
the eagerly awaited sequel to Todd Phillips’ billion-dollar hit divided critics.

While some found it ‘superior’ to the acclaimed 2019 film and lauded the performances of both Phoenix and Gaga, others slammed Joker: Folie à Deux
as ‘derivative’ and devoid of ‘fun.’

DailyMail’s Brian Viner called the movie musical ‘audaciously different in style
from the original, not quite as electrifying, but bold and
    brilliant all the same.’

Owen Gleiberman appeared a bit less impressed in his review for Variety, writing that
the ‘cracked jukebox musical’ had an audacious concept, ‘but
in a basic way it’s an overly cautious sequel.’

IndieWire’s David Ehrlich took a bit of a harsher tone, saying the 138-minute flick is ‘boring, flat,
and a criminal waste of Lady Gaga,’ adding it feels ‘bad on purpose.’

He added: ‘Phillips has created a corporate pop spectacle
that all but demands to be seen as something else.

‘Here is a movie that perversely denies audiences everything they’ve been conditioned to want from it; gently at first,
and then later with the unmistakable hostility of a knife
    to the gut.

‘And that, more than anything else, is why Folie à Deux adopts the form of a
classic musical: Because no other genre makes it so
easy to appreciate all the fun you’re not having.’

In contrast, Alex Harrison of ScreenRant describes Joker: Folie à Deux as
a more refined sequel designed to provoke fans of the original film.

‘Joker: Folie à Deux has more coherent things to say about fan culture than it or its predecessor does about mental illness, which, for me, makes it the superior of the two,’ he stated.

Deadline’s Pete Hammond praises the film as ‘brilliant’ and lauds the performances of the leads.

‘Phoenix knows this character inside and out, and in what others
might say is a risky proposition, he tap dances, sings and sells this role
like no other — if not topping his Oscar-winning turn in Joker, at least finding a way to take
him in different, wholly surprising direction.

‘Gaga is smartly low-key, not the Harley Quinn we associate with Margot Robbie, but her own person, dressed down and believably
showing affection and connection with Joker
and, more important, the man behind the makeup.’

The Hollywood Reporter says Joker: Folie à Deux feels ‘narratively a little thin and at times dull… This sequel is built on more of a conceit than a solid story foundation.’

‘Even more than its predecessor, Joker: Folie à Deux reduces
the archvillain to a hollowed-out product of childhood trauma
and mental illness. Which means there’s little we didn’t learn last time,’ added the outlet’s David Rooney.

    The Guardian’s Peter Bradshaw wrote, ‘There’s a
great supporting cast and a barnstorming first act but Todd Phillips’s much-hyped Gotham sequel proves claustrophobic and repetitive.’

DailyMail’s Brian Viner called the musical ‘audaciously different in style from the original, not quite as electrifying, but bold and

Deadline’s Pete Hammond praises the film as ‘brilliant’ and lauds the
    performances of the leads

The Times called it a ‘messy, lifeless sequel’ that ‘didn’t need to exist.’

‘The director Todd Phillips said there would be no follow-up to the original,
but he changed his mind and the result is a derivative musical,’
    the outlet’s Kevin Maher wrote.

Allison Willmore at Vulture panned the movie, writing, ‘Mostly, Arthur is acted upon, even when he thinks he’s seizing control —
a punching bag for the world and, more importantly, for the director,
who subjects the character to so many indignities that he
actually stops being pitiable and starts resembling the punchline to a very long,
    shaggy joke.

‘By the end of Joker: Folie à Deux, that joke feels like it’s on us.’

Joker: Folie à Deux is set to be released in theaters on October 4, 2024.

It is the much-anticipated follow-up to 2019’s Academy Award-winning Joker, which earned more than $1 billion at the global box office and remains the
highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.

The second installment finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting
trial for his crimes as Joker.

‘While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur
not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that’s
always been inside him,’ a press release shared.

The follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2019 film, starring Joaquin Phoenix
as Arthur Fleck (Joker) and Lady Gaga as Lee Quinzel (Harley Quinn), faced negative reviews from
critics before its October 4 release and flopped at the
    box office.

Tim, 39, who played a guard at Arkham Asylum in the movie, said Todd Philips’s new film has ‘no plot’ and admitted he knew it was
    ‘going to bomb’ while filming.

Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Tim said:
‘It’s the worst film ever made.

‘I think what happened, after the first Joker, there was a lot of talk like,
‘Oh, this was loved by incels. This was loved by the wrong kinds of
people. This sent the wrong kind of message. Male rage!
    Nihilism! All these think pieces.

The follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2019 film, starring Joaquin Phoenix
as Arthur Fleck (Joker) and Lady Gaga as Lee Quinzel (Harley Quinn), faced negative reviews from critics before its October 4 release and flopped at
    the box office

‘And then I think, ‘What if we went the other way,’ and now they have Joaquin Phoenix
and Lady Gaga tap dancing to a point where it’s insane.’

He continued: ‘It has no plot. We would sit there, me and
these other guys were all dressed in these security outfits
because we’re working at the Arkham Asylum, and I would turn to one of them
and we’d hear this crap and I’d go, ‘What the
f*** is this?’ And they’d go, ‘This is going to
bomb, man.’ I go, ‘This is the worst thing I’ve ever
    seen.’

‘We were talking about it at lunch, and we’d go, ‘What is the plot?

Is there a plot? I don’t know, I think he falls in love with her in the prison?’ It’s
not even hate-watchable. That’s how terrible it is.’

Despite the negative reviews a number of fans of the sequel
took to social media after its release last month to defend the sequel to
    Todd Phillips’ 2019 motion picture.

The film debuted to a paltry $40 million at the domestic box office, good
enough for the weekend’s top spot, but less than projections, and half that of its
    predecessor.

Amid the early returns, a number of fans took up for the movie and its cinematic
depth, in breaking away from the cookie cutter nature of sequels to introduce a musical element not present in the first film, with Lady
    Gaga joining the franchise.

‘Joker 2 was amazing,’ one user said, adding that it was ‘100% as
divisive as people are making it out to be.
I love that the film didn’t try to be a traditional
sequel, and fully committed to the storytelling they presented.

It never deviated to be a film full of Easter eggs or any other crowd pleasing aspects.’

Another user said, ‘I kinda loved Joker 2. I loved how it was structured as a meta-exploration of the first film’s fandom and
the musical elements were a lot of fun.’

month to defend the sequel to Todd Phillips’
    2019 motion picture

One user marvelled that Joker 2 is ‘getting universal hate despite being more
interesting and creative than anything marvel has done
    in years is expected.’

It comes after lead star Lady Gaga was left ‘disappointed’ at the immense flood of negative reactions to Joker: Folie à Deux,
with the singer’s team now keen to quickly push out other projects to
help distract from the furore over the film,
    insiders claim.

Todd Phillips‘ sequel has bombed, raking in just under $40 million at the domestic box office, and receiving the
lowest CinemaScore in comic book movie history.

Gaga, 38, is reportedly confused at the lack of love for her turn as Harleen Lee Quinzel,
aka Harley Quinn, alongside Joaquin Phoenix, 49, as the Joker – a role that won him the best actor Oscar in 2019 – in the
wake of the standing ovation it received at the Venice Film Festival last month.

‘Gaga is surprised by the response to Joker 2 and is shocked that people don’t love it after the response it received from critics before
it premiered,’ a source exclusively told DailyMail.com.

‘She put so much heart into the movie and has so
much respect for the DC comics fan base.’

They added: ‘Her team is quietly looking at other projects they can roll out as
they want to move on this from as quickly as possible.’

out other projects to help distract from the furor over the film, insiders
    claim

But despite the lacklustre reception from fans, a second source claimed she is not letting it deter her from returning
to the big screen, with the singer said to be eyeing up a Quentin Tarantino movie.

‘She is disappointed that Joker is pretty much
    a bomb,’ they said.

‘She thought that this film could get her an Oscar nomination, especially since
the first film was such a success and Joaquin won an Oscar.

‘She would now like to land a role in Quentin Tarantino’s next and final film.
Nobody knows what that is going to be, but she wants to audition.

‘She’s going to lobby hard to get a meeting with him once a script is presented, it is
a bucket list moment for her to be involved.’

Rubies are often referred to as the ‘king of gemstones’ and their vibrant color – caused by the presence of chromium – is often associated with
    passion, love, and power.

The name ‘ruby’ comes from the Latin word ‘ruber’ which
    means red.

Rubies are incredibly sought after for their beauty and
durability, they are ranked 9 on the Mohs
scale of hardness (qualitative scale that measures the relative hardness of minerals and other materials by
their resistance to scratching), second to diamonds.

Beyond their sparkle and strength, they have held cultural significance for centuries.

Throughout history, rubies have been associated
with nobility and wealth, often adorning the crowns of kings and queens.
They are also believed to bring good fortune and protection to their wearer.

According to Melee the Show founders Lauren Wolf and Rebecca Overmann, ruby jewelry is on the

next shows taking place in New York (February 1-3) and Tucson (February 5-7).

  47. SHANGHAI, Oct 9 (Reuters) – China’s yuan held steady against
    the U.S.
dollar on Wednesday, as investors awaited more stimulus from the world’s second-largest economy and the
Federal Reserve’s September meeting minutes due later in the day to gauge its policy path.
The dollar held steady, giving some relief to the yuan after a
sharp rally to a seven-week high last week.
Spot yuan opened at 7.0650 per dollar and was last trading 12
pips lower than the previous late session close at 7.066.
Prior to the market opening, the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) set the midpoint rate, around which the yuan is allowed
to trade in a 2% band, at 7.0568 per dollar, only 3 pips weaker than a Reuters’ estimate.

China’s blue-chip CSI300 index dropped for the first time since Sept.

13, poised to snapping a 10-day winning streak, after
officials on Tuesday failed to offer much new on stimulus plans to revive the
economy. The yuan is down 0.7% against the dollar so far this month,
due to broad dollar strength, but the currency has 0.5% firmed for the
    year-to-date.
China equities’ recent rally has raised the bar for an upside surprise from expected fiscal stimulus
news, said UBS strategists led by Rohit Arora, adding
that the offshore yuan’s near-term risk reward is unattractive.

“Historically, fizzling of China equities’ spurts acted as a bigger drag on CNH vis-à-vis the tailwinds from equities’ surge,” the strategists said.

Nevertheless, market participants are still awaiting additional stimulus measures
that could help further lift China asset sentiment.
Citi FX traders think the offshore yuan could trade well if local equities remain supported, similar to what
happened in Nov. 2022 – Jan. 2023, according to the bank’s note to clients.

The offshore yuan traded at 7.0682 yuan per dollar, up about 0.09% in Asian trade.
    The dollar’s six-currency index was 0.039% higher at 102.53.

The highly anticipated Joker sequel hit theaters on Friday, but immediately,
it was fiercely panned by viewers and critics alike.

Amid the scrutiny, a clip of Lady Gaga and Joaquin discussing
the film has taken over the web.

While chatting with Good Morning Britain last week, the two stars were asked if the movie turned out to be ‘everything
    they expected.’

Immediately, they both turned to look at one another and
    smiled.

reaction after they were asked to share their thoughts on Joker:
Folie à Deux has gone viral amid the backlash the
    film is facing

The highly anticipated Joker sequel hit theaters on Friday, but was
almost immediately panned by viewers and critics

For a few seconds, the two stars sat in silence as they both
waited for the other to answer the question.

‘Tell them how you feel, Joaquin,’ Lady Gaga, 38, said to her costar as she held out a fake microphone
    in front of him.

‘It’s so hard to talk about but I think we feel like
we achieved what we set out to do,’ Joaquin, 49, simply stated.

Someone on X, formerly Twitter, posted the moment online last week and it went viral, gaining more then 437,
000 views in a matter of days – and many users took their initial silence as proof that they ‘didn’t like’ the film.

The internet has been flooded with negative posts about the flick ever since it premiered,
with one user branding it as a ‘bore’ and another claiming it had ‘no plot.’

Many social media users have also slammed
the movie’s final scene, which saw main character Arthur Fleck (portrayed
by Joaquin) brutally stabbed to death by a fellow inmate.

This meant that the man that audiences had been watching over
the course of the two movies was never the Joker at all, but in fact, the infamous
villain from the Batman series was really just the random inmate who killed
Arthur in the last moments of the film.

The shocking twist left numerous viewers unsatisfied, and they took to social media to share their frustration.

While chatting with Good Morning Britain last week,
the two stars were asked if the movie turned out to be ‘everything
    they expected’

Immediately, they both turned to look at one another and smiled. For a few seconds, the two
stars sat in silence as they both waited for the other
    to answer the question

‘Tell them how you feel, Joaquin,’ Lady Gaga said to her costar, who added, ‘It’s so hard to talk about but I think we feel like
we achieved what we set out to do.’ He’s seen in the film

The shocking twist ending left many viewers unsatisfied and they took to social media to share their
    frustration

‘The ending made the movie a complete waste,’ one outraged
    user wrote.

‘The ending was pathetic,’ scathed someone else.

    ‘WTF you mean no Joker?’

‘The ending made no sense,’ added another person.

‘That ending? It’s so bad that not only it ruins Joker 2 but also the first Joker for the audience,’ read a
    fourth tweet.

‘The Joker had so much potential but that f**king ending ruined everything,’ a fifth said.

The Todd Phillips-directed musical serves as a follow-up to
the 2019 box office hit, which was simply titled Joker.

The first film grossed over $1 billion and at the time was the highest-grossing R-rated film
of all time. It received 11 Oscar nominations –
    two of which it won.

The sequel, however, has already been much less successful.
It had a lackluster $40 million debut at the box office in its first weekend, and has a low rating of 33 percent and
    31 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

‘Undoing much of the goodwill from its predecessor, the sequel convolutes what could have been a unique character
study into a bloated encore that goes out with a whimper,’ reads one review.

Another critic wrote, ‘This movie is a disjointed mess and a waste of time.
It’s just tired, not particularly interesting, but
it does look good from a production design standpoint.’

  54. A ménage à trois and intimacy outside the bedroom are sexual fantasies that
    we’ve all heard before.

But what about having sex in a desert, or even a storage unit?
These are just two of the unusual sexual fantasies social media users have
    confessed to trying.

A hilarious Reddit thread, named ‘what is a sexual fantasy you do not recommend’,
features the bizarre sexcapades of commenters — many of who bitterly
    regret their risqué acts.

The thread began with a question from user u/Fantastic-Ant-4429, who asked: ‘What is a sexual fantasy you do not recommend fulfilling?’

Having sex in the desert, a library and on a plane were some of the
    most upvoted responses, Huffpost reported.

Reddit user u/ElPresidente714 admitted to trying to have sex in the desert at
night when coming back from Vegas. But in reality, they were met
with ‘creepy crawly desert things don’t sleep
    at night’.

Another, u/DonSmitty said a ‘buddy in high school’ covered his
girlfriend (including her genitals) in chocolate
syrup. But it didn’t end well — she got infected with a ‘crazy’ yeast infection.

Doing it in a storage unit was another unusual fantasy
which ended badly. User u/isthisfark wrote: ‘There’s
a closing time and if you miss it you’ll get
stuck behind the gates for the night. Then the people who live there start rustling.’

Not everyone pursues or even plans to act on their sexual fantasies in real life.
But a handful of those who have tried to make their browser history a reality
have confessed they didn’t quite go to plan — a thread on Reddit revealed

One commenter u/hot-snake-70 confessed they found out the hard
way that it ‘stings’ if you put your penis ‘in a
    glass of red wine’.

Threesomes were also suggested to be a bad idea with user u/Touristupdatenola
adding: ‘If I wanted to disappoint two people simultaneously, I’d have dinner with both my parents.’

Another user u/odysseus-23, warned against trying to have sex
in a library due to the likelihood of getting ‘caught on the cameras’.

And while joining the Mile High Club — engaging in sex acts while
aboard an airplane — might sound exciting, some warn that it is anything but.

‘Mile high club. Trust me, these bathrooms are getting smaller and smaller.
And people notice, they always notice,’ u/bigindianenergy29 commented.

  55. KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 13 (Reuters) – Malaysia’s law minister on Wednesday challenged a
former sultan’s heirs who lost a legal bid to obtain nearly $15 billion from
the government over a land dispute to try leasing part of the country that they still claim rights to.

Earlier this month, France’s top civil court rejected an appeal from the Filipino
heirs of the last Sultan of Sulu after a lengthy legal battle stemming from
    a colonial-era land lease agreement.

The heirs had won a $14.9 billion award in a French
arbitration court in 2022 but a Paris court later upheld the Malaysian government’s challenge against enforcing a partial award.

The Cour de Cassation confirmed the ruling.

The heirs’ lawyer, Paul Cohen, subsequently said the ruling reinforced their rights to the territory, which spans islands in the southern Philippines and parts of present-day
Malaysia on Borneo island, and that they could lease the land to other
    countries, including the Philippines.

Malaysia’s Law Minister Azalina Othman Said dismissed Cohen’s claims as “baseless” and said the heirs may try to
lease the land, but would face legal action.

“Malaysia has been a sovereign and independent nation since 1957… so what he (Cohen) has said makes no sense to me,” Azalina told reporters on Wednesday.

The dispute stemmed from a 1878 deal between European colonists and the Sultan of Sulu for use of his territory and present day Malaysia honoured the agreement after it gained independence from Britain.

Malaysia paid a token sum annually to the sultan’s heirs to but stopped in 2013 following
a bloody incursion by supporters of the former sultanate to
reclaim land from Malaysia. The heirs then sought arbitration over what they said was a breach
of the agreement. (Reporting by Danial Azhar; Editing by

Throughout their years dating, Gaga and Polansky have attended the Super Bowl ,

Lady Gaga and Michael reportedly decided to go their separate ways in early 2023 due to the singer-songwriter

The pair reportedly had an amicable dissolution to their coupling, and remained friends.

Then, in August 2023 they were spotted together for the first time in more than a year.

The singer has always been open about her desire
to have a big family and in 2013, she told Sirius XM radio she wants
    ‘at least three kids’.

She said: ‘I wanna have tons of kids. I think at least three.

I really want to have a family. I really want to have a family, I really want to
    nurture my children.

‘Having my own kids will be like having three little monsters with me all the time.

They probably won’t be fans, they will probably

  58. WELLINGTON, March 28 (Reuters) – A Wellington court
gave the New Zealand unit of Philip Morris International the
green light to sell its heated tobacco product, dismissing a case by the country’s health authorities.

New Zealand’s Ministry of Health had argued the HEETS
product would fall under the country’s “Smoke-free Environment Act’s” ban on tobacco products
for chewing or any other oral use.

The product, known as IQOS, is a sleek, penlike device that heats
tobacco but does not ignite it – an approach Philip Morris
says produces far lower levels of carcinogens than regular cigarettes.
It is used by nearly 4 million people in 30 markets
outside the United States and needs Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorization to be marketed in America.

HEETS is the branded name of tobacco sticks used in IQOS.

“We welcome the Court´s decision. This case does, however, highlight the need for urgent reform of regulations surrounding e-cigarettes and other smokeless tobacco products,” said Philip Morris New Zealand General Manager,
    Jason Erickson. (Reporting by Marius Zaharia;

  63. PARIS (AP) – Not even a tense tête-à-tête in the gold
medal game could spoil the vibe at Paris´ biggest
    beach party.

Canada´s Brandie Wilkerson and Brazil´s Ana Patrícia
got into a finger-pointing shouting match across the net in the tiebreaking
third set of the beach volleyball final of the Paris Olympics on Friday night.
The referee tried to keep the peace, but it was the Eiffel Tower Stadium DJ who cooled
tempers on the sand by playing John Lennon´s “Imagine” over the PA system.

The players laughed and clapped. The crowd applauded and
    sang along.

Wilkerson was shown a yellow card.

The top-ranked Brazilians left with the gold medal.

“We`re competitors and we are fighting for the same thing: There´s only one gold medal,” Wilkerson said during a post-match news conference in which the two laughed and jokingly put
up their fists as if they were going to brawl it out.

Gold medalists, Brazil’s Eduarda “Duda” Santos Lisboa, center left, and Ana Patricia Silva Ramos, center right, pose for a

Summer Olympics, Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, in Paris, France.

“Immediately after the game, it´s all love and respect,”
she said. “We bring out the best in each other, and I´m honored to play against this team.”

Ana Patrícia and Duda rallied from an 11-5 deficit to
    take the first-to-21, win-by-two first set 26-24,
and Canada won the second 21-12. Brazil opened up a 12-7 lead in the first-to-15 tiebreaker
when, after a joust at the net, Wilkerson and Ana Patrícia began pointing fingers at
    each other.

The second referee, the one at sand level, moved out to separate the
two players, but Wilkerson continued to argue and picked up a
yellow card. As the Brazilians got into position to serve
for the next point, the DJ began playing “Imagine,” the late Beatle’s song calling for unity and peace.

The message resonated with the players.

“What a beautiful opportunity we have to play the finals under the Eiffel Tower against the best in the world,” Wilkerson said.
“Like, that, in of itself, is a win.”

Wilkerson told reporters afterward that it was all a misunderstanding:
She was responding to her family, cheering in the crowd
behind the Brazilians, and Ana Patrícia thought Wilkerson was taunting her.

“We´re pretty amped up, partners are coming in, refs are coming in. So it was a bit of a mess,” Wilkerson said.
“But after the game, and even right when they came to shake our hands, still on the court, there was an immediate hug and just kind of like, `Hey, it´s all good.´”

When play resumed, it took Brazil only five more points to finish off
    Wilkerson and Melissa Humana-Paredes, kicking
off a party the sport’s spiritual home hadn’t seen since hosting
the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games at Copacabana. In Tokyo, the country was shut
out at the Summer Games for the first time
since beach volleyball was added to the program in 1996.

Three years later, Brazil not only returned to the podium but climbed to its top step.

With the Eiffel Tower’s strobes sparking in the background
and yellow- and green-wearing fans singing and waving Brazilian flags, the country was awarded its first women’s gold since Atlanta.
(The United States, which had won four of the last five, was shut out
in both the men’s and women’s tournaments in Paris.)

After the medal ceremony, the Canadians and Brazilians – along
with the bronze-winning Swiss – posed for selfies together.
Wilkerson and Ana Patrícia spoke to each other and hugged; there may have even been an air kiss.

“It was a game thing,” Ana Patrícia said. “Everybody wants to win. But it happens. It´s everybody trying to win, but now everything is OK.”

Wilkerson and Humana-Paredes will return to Canada with the country’s first beach volleyball medal since the men won bronze at the 1996 Atlanta Games.
That team was coached by Humana-Paredes’ father.

Switzerland beat Australia in straight sets in the third-place game earlier
Friday night to earn the bronze medal.

Nina Brunner and Tanja Huerberli beat Tokyo silver medalists Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar 21-17, 21-15
in 39 minutes. It was the second Summer Games in a row that a
Swiss team took the bronze medal, coming three years after Joana Heidrich and Anouk Vergé-Dépré placed third in Tokyo.

On the men’s side, Sweden was set to face Germany for gold on Saturday
night, with Norway and Qatar playing for the bronze.

  75. Lady Gaga is set to release her seventh studio album in February.

Despite lead single Disease stalling on the Hot 100 at No.
27, the 38-year-old is forging ahead with her next album, which she described as both ‘fun’
    and ‘darker.’

Speaking to Vogue magazine about the project,
Gaga said that she’s been focused on the production side of her new songs.

‘I love producing — I always have — and something that was really important to me making my
seventh studio album was blending live instrumentation with programming,
    ‘ she explained.

‘The album is chaotic from a genre perspective — it is genre-bending, and I think in that way is a deeply personal look
into my mind as a producer and the way I think about music.’

She also said that the album has a ‘darker pop’ sound that’s more in line with her iconic 2009 album, The Fame Monster.

However, fans need not be worried that Gaga is going too somber with her
    sound.

‘The album is not extremely serious in that it’s very
fun and meant to be enjoyed at a party, in a club, or at home having personal fun time — to be free
of your worries at home or walking through life,’ she insisted.

Lady Gaga is focused on releasing her seventh studio album
this February following the disappointing reception to lead single Disease

Gaga released the album’s lead single Disease last month
to rave reviews from music critics, who lauded it as a return to the star’s roots.

Unfortunately, the acclaim failed to translate to the charts, with Disease debuting at No.
27 on the Hot 100 – her worst entry for a lead single in 16 years.

On the bright side, Gaga is currently enjoying one of
her biggest hits in years thanks to her Bruno Mars
    duet, Die With a Smile.

The ballad has so far reached No. 2 on the Hot 100 and No.
1 on the Pop Airplay Chart.

It comes after Gaga’s leading role in the disastrous Joker:
    Folie à Deux.

The follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2019 film, starring Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck (Joker)
and Gaga as Lee Quinzel (Harley Quinn), faced negative reviews from critics before its October
4 release and flopped at the box office.

Tim, 39, who played a guard at Arkham Asylum in the movie, said Todd Philips’s new film has ‘no plot’ and admitted
he knew it was ‘going to bomb’ while filming.

Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Tim said: ‘It’s the worst
    film ever made.

Gaga told Vogue magazine that she’s been focused on the production side of her new songs

Gaga released the album’s lead single Disease last month to rave reviews from music critics, but the song flopped on the Hot 100

‘I think what happened, after the first Joker, there was a lot of talk like, “Oh, this was loved by incels. This was loved by the wrong kinds of people. This sent the wrong kind of message. Male rage! Nihilism!” All these think pieces.

‘And then I think, “What if we went the other way,”
and now they have Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga tap dancing to a
point where it’s insane,’ he continued.

‘It has no plot. We would sit there, me and these other guys
were all dressed in these security outfits because we’re working at the Arkham Asylum, and I would turn to one of them and we’d hear this crap
and I’d go, “What the f*** is this?” And they’d
go, “This is going to bomb, man.” I go, “This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen.”

‘We were talking about it at lunch, and we’d go, “What is the plot? Is there a plot? I don’t know, I think he falls in love with her in the prison?” It’s not even hate-watchable.
    That’s how terrible it is.’
