“The Dominican Republic has earned a good reputation for its tourism development”

This was stated by the Minister of Tourism, Francisco Javier García during the opening of the Hotel Lopesan Costa Bávaro

The Minister of Tourism, Francisco Javier García, said that the country has achieved success in tourism because it has earned a reputation that carries a great reputation, and it has been defended in the past, the present and will be defended in the future

García said that the big hotel companies of the world have taken the decision to build their facilities in the Dominican Republic because the investment climate, legal security and the treatment of people guarantee their investment.

In that sense, he said: “Foreign businessmen since their first visit to the Dominican Republic are delighted by the warmth of the Dominicans, the beauty of the country, the climate and the warmth of the people and that is why from the beginning they trust in investing in the tourism”.

The official reiterated that the country has more than 50 years of development of the tourism industry, achieved with hard work, and the result of this effort is that the World Tourism Organization (WTO) has the Dominican Republic as a reference.

The Minister of Tourism gave these statements at the opening ceremony of the Hotel Lopesan Costa Bávaro, with the presence of the President of the Republic, Danilo Medina, and revealed that in the Dominican Republic the public and private sectors each have their responsibility and duty to the tourism sector and the common point is to fight for the tranquility, happiness and safety of tourists, so that when they leave for their destination of origin they become a witness and promoter of the magic that is in this country.

He said that the hotel industry in the Dominican Republic has decided to start a career with quality and an example is the inauguration of the Hotel Lopesan Costa Bávaro.
