Sunwing hotels in Punta Cana officially join Marriott

Blue Diamond Resorts announced that Royalton Luxury Resorts, Hideaway at Royalton, Mystique Holbox by Royalton, Royalton CHIC Resorts & Spa, Grand Lido and Planet Hollywood Beach Resorts have officially joined the Marriott International portfolio.

Additionally, iconic Sunwing hotel brands are now participating in the Marriott Bonvoy Travel Program, Marriott International’s prestigious travel marketplace and loyalty program.

“Our award-winning, luxurious resorts will benefit from Marriott International’s world-renowned brands and renowned travel program, while supporting Marriott International’s expansion into the independent and all-inclusive boutique hotel categories,” the hotelier said.

They indicated that the agreement elevates the positioning of 21 Blue Diamond Resorts properties that are now part of the Autograph Collection and Tribute Portfolio brands of Marriott.

In the Dominican Republic, the hotels that become part of the Marriott portfolio are: Royalton Bávaro, Royalton CHIC Punta Cana, Royalton Punta Cana, Royalton Splash Punta Cana and Hideaway at Royalton Punta Cana.
