Minister Collado supervises the Guayacanes beach works, says it will be a model for the Caribbean
Guayacanes, San Pedro de Macorìs– The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, reported that Guayacanes beach, located in Juan Dolio, is being intervened by the authorities.
During a supervision visit carried out on December 25, the official assured that he will remain as a model of the Caribbean.
“We went out to supervise the Guayacanes beach, where we have interventions that will leave these beaches as a model of the Caribbean.”
The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, and the Minister of Tourism, started at the beginning of this month the works for the reconstruction and adaptation of the Playa de Guayacanes and the Plaza de Venidores, in San Pedro de Macorís.
The reconstruction project will have an estimated investment of 111 million pesos.
These works will include: 26 sales modules, cobblestone path, bathrooms, security cameras, Wi-Fi
free, among other amenities.
Collado indicated on that occasion that with this project in Guayacanes history is made and that it will reactivate the economy of the area since it is a model of social inclusion.
