President Abinader: “Punta Cana remains at the forefront as a tourist engine”
President Luis Abinader stated that “Punta Cana remains at the forefront as a tourism engine, receiving more than 65% of the passengers entering and leaving the country.”
Likewise, he reiterated his call to national and foreign investors to carry out their projects in the Dominican Republic and emphasized that the government will support projects that improve the quality of life of all Dominicans.
He explained that it is the best time to invest in the Dominican Republic. “Today I say it with much more certainty and security. Today is the best time to invest in the country. Today we are open to investment to create work, to improve each of our services and promote each of our sectors. Let’s all work together, so that in this progress, development and growth no one is left behind, “he said.
“Where it is going to be created, where Dominican families can live with dignity, this government will be there supporting them from the beginning, facilitating investments with transparency,” said the president.
He pointed out that record investments are arriving in the country and that this is due to the trust and the great opportunities that the current administration of government offers.
His words were expressed when giving the first word for the construction of the Punta Cana Free Trade Zone (PCFTZ), logistics center, air, sea, land and free zone park, as well as the expansion of terminal B of the Punta Cana International Airport Cana, for which he considered that with the new project “we are at the forefront of the logistics sector”.
“The government’s objective is to improve people’s quality of life and this is achieved by working with businessmen and professionals. We have to work in a united country. Only a united country in the history of economic development achieves its goals », he stated.
President Abinader, when delivering his speech, stated that the start of expansion and infrastructure works is one of the most important and will project the Dominican Republic as a first-class international logistics hub.
Likewise, he congratulated the Rainieri Family for being an example of development and social commitment and for always betting on the destination with projects that continue to innovate the tourism industry, believing in and improving the quality of life of the inhabitants.
He considered that with the start of these projects, there is a decisive commitment to the revitalization of the economy of the entire region and the growth of the entire country.
