HENDERSON, Nev.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–If dreams of getting behind the flight deck are calling, pilot career consulting company Future & Active Pilot Advisors (FAPA) invites individuals to learn more about a rewarding career in aviation. Ideal for aspiring pilots of all ages, including career changers, military personnel, students and their parents, school counselors, and staff, the FAPA Future Pilot Seminar: Building the Pilot Pipeline takes place on Saturday, Nov. 19, beginning at 2 p.m. sharp at Le Méridien Dania Beach (1825 Griffin Road Dania Beach, FL 33004) near the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Starting at 2 p.m. sharp, the FAPA Future Pilot Seminar will feature an informative “How to Launch Your Pilot Career” presentation from FAPA’s Chief Advisor on the aviation industry and touch on the state of the aviation industry to the training required to get started, and the process for building the experience necessary to secure a professional pilot job.
“FAPA wants to be a part of every pilot’s journey to a professional cockpit career, and we have the collective experience to provide guidance. Our Future Pilot Seminar is free for everyone to attend, and we’re here to help,” said Tim Genc, chief advisor and executive editor of FAPA.
Republic Airways’ Lift Academy, L3Harris Airline Academy, Skyborne Airline Academy, Spartan College of Aeronautics, and Wayman Aviation Academy will also be present to discuss their flight training and professional pathway programs and answer questions. School counselors are also encouraged to attend—so they can best guide their students in navigating an interest in flying for a living.
“As the need for aviation pilots continues to grow, there is also a growing need for guidance and direction for those that may have the desire to become a pilot. That guidance and direction can be found at the Future Pilot Seminar hosted by the FAPA organization. The FAPA seminar is a one-stop shop for providing a future pilot with all the data that is needed to make an informed decision about becoming a pilot. In my opinion, the FAPA Future Pilot seminar is an absolute must for any aspiring pilot,” said Glenn Thompkins, vice president, educational partnerships, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology.
FAPA strives to assist professional pilots—whether future or active—in landing a successful cockpit career by providing the information and counseling needed at monthly Pilot Job Fairs and Future Pilot Seminar events, which take place around the country, usually on the third Saturday of the month.
All attendees must register for the FAPA Future Pilot Seminar. There will be free prize drawings including the chance to win a Sporty’s Learn to Fly Course at the Nov. 19 event. For more information about a professional pilot career, visit www.fapa.aero/future.
