Samaná also wants to attract Copa Airlines flights
Executives of the Association of Hotels and Tourism Companies of Samaná (Ahetsa) and the Samaná Tourism Cluster (CTS) held a meeting with senior executives of Copa Airlines with the objective of joining efforts to achieve a connection with the important markets served by the airline at the international level.
Juan Bancalari, president of Ahetsa, who led the meeting, highlighted the importance of these flights for the region.
Also present were: Carlos Rodoli member of the Ahetsa/ CTS board of directors and director of Aerodom north zone; Matías Colombo, also a member of the board of directors and representative of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts; and Fanny Jones, executive director Ahetsa/ CTS.
Rodoli highlighted all the benefits and attractions of the destination and expressed that it is a good time to consider operating from our President Juan Bosch International Airport; the dynamism and growth of the area and the large and important investments that have been made and those in the process of development, guarantee the feasibility of having more air operations.
Meanwhile, the delegation of Copa Airlines executives was represented by: María Elena Palma, Fleet and Network Planning Coordinator; Anthony Robinson, Planning Analyst; and Ibelca Vázquez, General Manager Caribe Norte.
The airline executives expressed their amazement at the optimal conditions of the President Juan Bosch International Airport.
