Central Romana delivers homes to mothers.

The company Central Romana delivered 14 houses to its workers in the Quisqueya sector, as part of its corporate social responsibility actions for the benefit of its employees and their families, in an act headed by the engineer Eduardo Martínez-Lima Junior, vice-president of Administration; Eladio Uribe, general director of Human Resources; and Jorge Sturla, director of Public Relations, who informed that the company would grant each worker an interest-free loan to execute the details of the completion of the house, as part of a housing donation program that has been running for more than 50 years.

The project includes 40 houses in the 10th stage of block No. 35 of the Quisqueya sector, of which 24 homes have already been delivered, specifically, three bedrooms, bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, and veranda. The delivery, on the occasion of Mother’s Day, filled these families with happiness.

Eunice Magra, who has worked as a nursing assistant at the Central Romana Medical Center for 36 years, thanked the corporation for her new home, adding that her children are now professionals thanks to her work and stability within the company.
