Ambassador of India interested in promoting Jarabacoa’s tourism potential
The Ambassador of India in the Dominican Republic, Ramu Abbagani, expressed his interest in promoting commercial exchange with businessmen of Jarabacoa, which highlights its potential, including tourism.
The diplomat, who was invited by the Support Council of Jarabacoa, highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit of the businessmen of the area and the security.
“I will always be available with the best intention of contributing to the development of Jarabacoa, a land of humble and enterprising people where one enjoys tourism, the mountains, security and climate,” he said.
Meanwhile, businessman José A. Tejeda thanked the diplomat for the gesture and said that the objective of the meeting is to promote investment in Jarabacoa and to make known its potential for the development of tourism, agriculture and other productive sectors.
He stressed that the Council is opening the doors to expand and strengthen relations with other countries through their ambassadors to promote trade.
He mentioned that in the last few months the ambassadors of Japan, China and now India have visited Jarabacoa at the invitation of the entity he presides.
“They have all had a very good impression of this town, to know its people, the goodness of nature and the working spirit of those who promote the development of Jarabacoa,” he said.
