The Caribbean’s Greatest Lobster Festival Is Back
If you haven’t heard of Anegada, it’s the beachy, uncrowded paradise at the frontier of the British Virgin Islands.
It’s also a place where lobster is more delicious — and more plentiful – than just about anywhere in the Caribbean.
That’s helped earn the tiny island the crown as the “Caribbean Capital of Lobster,” and now Anegada’s premier culinary event is back, too.
The beloved Anegada Lobster Festival will run this year from Nov. 24-26, a weekend that’s, well, all about lobster, with everything from creative lobster menus at the island’s eateries to a lobster scavenger hunt.
In all, 12 different restaurants in Anegada will be perorating lobster samples, from lobster fritters to curry lobster to, yes, lobster ice cream.
