Consul Castillo asks Dominicans outside to continue betting Medina before thousands of fans

NEW YORK.-The consul general in this city, Carlos A. Castillo, asked the Dominicans abroad to continue betting on President Danilo Medina, standing out before thousands of followers of the president gathered at the United Palace Theater in Upper Manhattan, on Saturday in the night, that the transformations that the Government has in progress, also benefit the diaspora.

He said that more than promises, Danilo is action and facts made in order to improve the living conditions of all Dominicans.

Castillo, who gave the welcome speech at the act of support for government works, organized by the PLD, added that the health, housing and education programs are benefiting many Dominican families abroad, citing insurance SENASA, the Ciudad Juan Bosch project and the scholarships for students of the children of the Creoles in the diaspora with access to dozens of universities.

He added that the transformations and reforms of the Government, benefit the Dominicans, no matter in which latitude of the world they are.

He said that among the benefits is the health insurance Carimar of SENASA, for all those Dominicans who wish to return to their country, a section to prioritize the purchase of homes in Ciudad Juan Bosch, where they benefit from exonerations of all legal procedures , the Housing Bond and the same loan conditions as if those from abroad were in the Dominican Republic.

“With the Digital Republic, a virtual window was opened with which, and more than 400 Dominicans made the equivalence of their titles, reducing the sub employment and allowing more Dominicans to access the formal market of the United States,” Castillo added.

“For the first time in history, the call for scholarships for degree, masters and doctorate programs was launched, which means significant savings for families and beneficiaries here in North America, who will not have to access the stormy educational loans”, explained the Consul General.

He added the phrase of Juan Bosch in which the founder of the PRD and the PLD said that “the word can expose the action, but not supplant it”.

The consul spoke accompanied by dozens of leaders of the Central Committee (CC) the ambassador in Washington, DC José Tomás Pérez, member of the Political Committee (CP), the chief ambassador of the Dominican mission at the UN, Francisco Cortorreal (Frank) and leaders PLD supporters from all states in the # 1 constituency of the United States, including Canada, who were on stage.
