The Dominican Port Authority (Apordom) plans to invest in the port of San Pedro de Macorís an approximate amount of 10 million dollars (about RD $ 600 million) for the fitting out of two docks, abandoned for more than 20 years.

“At some point, cruises were received and it was an important time and they are the aspirations of the Petromacorisanos. We have made a commitment to evaluate the conditions to see if they are suitable for tourism, or to see other possibilities ”, he stressed.
