Air Transat will have an extensive schedule of flights from Canada to the Dominican Republic
The airline will offer a weekly flight from Toronto to La Romana during the season.
Air Transat will include Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, La Romana and Samana, destinations in the Dominican Republic, in its upcoming flight schedule for the winter of 2024-2025, departing from Toronto, Ottawa, London, Montreal, Quebec, Halifax and Moncton.
Toronto, Ottawa and London
The company will offer during the season a weekly flight from Toronto to La Romana.
Puerto Plata will be offered five direct flights per week from Toronto, in addition to a flight departing from Ottawa.
Punta Cana will receive 14 flights from Toronto, 2 from Ottawa and 1 from London.
Samana will have three direct flights from Toronto.
Montreal and Quebec
Departing from Montreal the airline will include one flight to La Romana, and 6 flights to Puerto Plata where it will fly twice from Quebec.
Punta Cana will have 14 weekly flights from Montreal and 6 flights from Quebec.
Samaná will receive 4 weekly flights from Montreal and 1 flight from Québec.
Halifax and Moncton
The airline will add 2 weekly flights to Puerto Plata from Halifax, and 4 weekly flights to Punta Cana and one from Moncton.
Air Transat’s overall global program will include winter flights from Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. In addition to that at the peak of the season, Air Transat’s overall schedule will include nearly 300 non-stop flights per week from seven Canadian cities, including Toronto, Ottawa, London, Montreal, Quebec, Halifax and Moncton.
“For the 2024-2025 winter season, we are favoring growth focused on our flagship destinations,” said Sebastian Ponce, Transat’s chief revenue officer.
