Arajet expands: connects 15 destinations in 10 countries
Arajet inaugurated two new routes to Quito (UIO) and Guayaquil (GYE) from Las Américas International Airport (AILA).
He also announced that more than 67,000 tickets have been sold in just two months, exceeding the projections they had estimated.
The airline is making history by connecting Santo Domingo with Quito for the first time through two weekly frequencies on Mondays and Fridays, and with Guayaquil with flights on Thursdays and Saturdays, according to a statement.
With the addition of the two new routes to Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador, there are already 15 destinations in 10 countries that the current route network of Arajet has, uniting Santo Domingo with North, Central, South America and the Caribbean, providing Dominicans new direct flight options with the lowest fares in the market and the best services.
In that sense, Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet, said that “offering the lowest rates to the Dominican public is allowing us to build affordable air travel for our passengers, which has caused an extraordinary response.”
“ Our sales have exceeded expectations in the first two months and this reality is driving Arajet’s rapid expansion. We are already on track to deliver 19 routes connecting 11 countries in the Americas with Santo Domingo in 2022,” he added.
