Bahamas’ Graycliff Cigar Company Joins Caribbean’s Top Rum Festival
One of the world’s top cigar brands has joined the Caribbean Rum Awards St Barth festival.
The annual St Barth event is the most exclusive Caribbean rum competition and festival in the world, bringing together an unrivaled field of rums in a blind tasting and featuring a week of rum parties and events across the French Caribbean island.
Graycliff, based at its factory in Nassau, The Bahamas, is one of the most sought-after cigar brands on the market; the company’s blends were pioneered by Avelino Lara, Fidel Castro’s personal roller, and in three decades it has become a standard for cigar connoisseurs.
Graycliff will serve as the official cigar of this year’s Caribbean Rum Awards St Barth, with rums featured at the festival’s events and provided to VIPs.
“Graycliff makes some of the greatest cigars on earth, and we are so pleased for the Garzaroli family’s storied brand to be part of this year’s Caribbean Rum Awards,” said Alexander Britell, editor and publisher of Caribbean Journal. “The world’s finest cigars and the world’s finest rums go hand in hand.”
