Bonaire Tourism Is Having a Strong Fall Season
The Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire is off to a strong start this fall season, according to new data from Tourism Corporation Bonaire.
Bonaire welcomed 11,928 stayover visitors in September, representing a 19.3 percent increase compared to the same month in 2019, before the pandemic – one of its strongest months of the year in that regard.
Dutch travelers continued to dominate arrival numbers, accounting for just under half of all travelers to the island and staying for an average of 14 nights.
United States-based visitors represented 21 percent of all visitors in the period, spending an average of seven nights on the island.
