Caney Beach Home ecotourism project opened with initial investment of US$1.5 M
With an initial investment of 1.5 million dollars and a budget projection of 5.5 million, Caney Beach Home formally opens its doors to the public with a real estate and ecological tourism proposal from the coast of Matanzas, in Baní.
Caney Beach Home is the first tourism project of Banilejo capital and will be made up of a set of villas and lots.
The president of the Caney Executive Council, Juan Tejeda, explained that it is a project in growth and development for the area, and has an area of 120 square meters, where they will build 150 beach villas and a boutique hotel with 40 rooms defined with a peculiar country design. , “indigenous style”.
He stated that 97% of the lots have already been sold, and they hope that in a month the buyers will be able to start construction of the villas.
«Caney Beach Home has a unique panorama for the construction of villas and rest and retirement residence establishments outside the city, as well as glamping for camping-type stays. It has been designed for those who like tranquility, meditation and the harmony of the breeze and the waves of the sea, the sand and the radiant sun of the tropics », he expressed.
Giving details about the beach club, he said that it consists of a swimming pool for adults and children, a children’s play area, a restaurant, a bar, among other facilities.
Likewise, he highlighted that this project directly employs about 100 people and indirectly about 500, and will create 1,500 jobs in the future when the project is finished.
“These 1,500 jobs will create an economic impact for this area, and we are not looking for trained people from elsewhere, but we are looking for staff from this community of Matanza and Baní, and we invest time and money in their training,” he said.
The businessman explained that Caney will offer one of the most important tourist attractions in the southern region, hand in hand with other complexes and hotels, such as Punta Arena, Las Calderas, Punta Salinas, Campomar, Ocoa Bay, among others.
On his side, the vice president of the Caney Executive Council, Gustavo Terrero, highlighted the importance of gastronomy in the area, among other aspects related to services. “The club will be up to international quality standards with the attention of a staff trained in hospitality and tourism.”
He added that Caney will develop a policy of corporate and business social responsibility, together with small, medium and large entrepreneurs, as well as with the farmers of Baní and the entire southern region, to offer high-quality services and products, local and typical, which They also represent the history, traditions and marks of excellence for the international projection of the country image of this province.
