Casa de Campo Resort & Villas complete renovation

Sanctuary, I throw myself down among the tall grass by the trickling stream; and, as I lie close to the earth, a thousand unknown plants are noticed by me: when I hear the buzz of the little world among the stalks, and grow familiar with the countless indescribable forms of the insects and flies, then I feel the presence of the Almighty, who formed us in his own image, and the breath of that universal love which.

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas complete renovation

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas recently completed a renovation valued at 12 million dollars. The improvements included new accommodations, a Golf Learning Center, the Minitas Beach Club, a new space for meetings and events, a Mexican restaurant and a family pool. Known for being the favorite in the Caribbean for icons of yesterday and today, from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter, Martha Stewart and several American presidents, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas is continually evolving to meet the needs of discerning guests who frequent this five star enclave.

Here we present the innovations that are part of this renewal:

New family pool area in Minitas
The new family pool on the private beach Minitas has had a warm welcome after its inauguration. Knowing that a pool is a popular choice among the smaller swimmers, having this option on the beach was a necessary convenience for kids who want a bit of beach and pool at the same time. The area, located right on the sands of the beach, offers two new pools, several shops, lunch options, covered seating area and a play area. It has been designed to complement the facilities of the exclusive Minitas Beach Club & Restaurant.

New rooms
Located in the center of the resort, 64 rooms have been completely renovated and renamed Deluxe Patio and Deluxe Balcony, reflecting the quality of these new accommodations. Everything about these rooms has been changed from floor to ceiling. They have larger bathrooms with walk-in showers and spacious walk-in closets. They also have amenities such as espresso machines and, of course, a full service minibar.

New Minitas Beach Club
The beach club in Minitas offers a contemporary space for day and night relaxation. The lounge area is the perfect place to sit and have cocktails, and it is one of the best spots on the island to enjoy the sunset. Guests will also appreciate the spectacular panoramic view of the Caribbean as they swim in the infinity pool or indulge in an incredible dining experience.

The restaurant, one of 20 inside the resort, is open daily for lunch and dinner, offering a la carte options with a mix of Mediterranean and Latin flavors. The private cabins offer seating and lounge space for up to 14 people, creating an exclusive option for groups that require a more discreet environment. One of these cabins can accommodate up to 32 people, and the pool deck is also a coveted space for private groups and parties.

New Golf Learning Center
Casa de Campo is the number one golf resort in the Caribbean, and home to three championship-level golf courses, including the highly respected Teeth of the Dog.
The team has created the most advanced golf learning center in the Caribbean, just as one would expect from one of the best golf resorts in the world. The modern center, open since this summer, has two interior practice bays for quick improvements, training all year round, individual and group golf lessons, and equipment and club repair experts. PGA Tour quality facilities also offer practice greens to perfect plays, as well as unlimited use of the pristine outdoor field for full shots.

Casa del Río: new space for banquets and meetings
Hidden inside the vast resort Casa de Campo is Altos de Chavon: a town of craftsmen modeled after a Mediterranean villa of the sixteenth century with boutiques, museums and an amphitheater Greek style with 5,000 seats. A new location has Altos de Chavón as its new home, ideal for parties, weddings and banquets. Casa del Río, which was inaugurated in September, has one of the best locations throughout the property, overlooking the valley, the Chavón River and the Caribbean Sea below. It has capacity for 80 people.

Chilango: Mexican restaurant
Another novelty in Altos de Chavón is Chilango, a contemporary taqueria with a prime location overlooking Plaza Chavón and the church. Opening at the end of November, the Chilango menu presents the authentic and bold flavors of Mexican street cuisine. It is casual and tempting, with the best focus on quality and value.

“We are very excited about the new additions to the resort. Our goal is to continually exceed the expectations of guests and offer nothing less than world-class facilities. To do that, it’s very important that we continue to invest in infrastructure and services, “said Jason Kycek, vice president of sales and marketing. “Casa de Campo Resort & Villas will undergo new and exciting improvements over the next year to maintain our position as one of the world’s leading vacation resorts.”

Located on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, the impressive resort covers 7,000 acres and features a five-star hotel along with an extensive collection of luxury villas. There are championship level golf courses, an equestrian center with 300 horses, tennis, spa and an exclusive marina.
