CHTA updates the situation in the Caribbean through the passage of Dorian
The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association issued a statement that clarifies the state of the countries where it passed and is currently going through the tropical storm Dorian, which became a Huracan.
According to the report, with the exception of the Bahamas that is currently in a state of readiness, the entire Caribbean is fully open to business. Our thoughts are with our colleagues in The Bahamas and we wish them the best result as they weather the storm.
As Hurricane Dorian approaches the Bahamas and southern Florida, air transportation will be affected throughout the region, causing cancellations and delays. Air transport must be monitored and airline cancellation policies, as well as yours, must be communicated to guests and scheduled guests who may be affected.
CHTA invites you to visit its webiste for updating weather-related activities, there you can find a list of reports and links to the main airlines that provide services in the Caribbean.
