Copa Airlines launches Santiago to Panama flights

Santiago, DR.- Copa Airlines marked the reopening of its operations in Santiago with a flight that touched down after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, extending a warm welcome to all passengers arriving from Panama. This renewed connection signifies a significant boost for the northern region.

Officials from Cibao International Airport and the executive team of Copa Airlines emphasized the importance of this link between Santiago and Panama, recognizing it as a pivotal milestone for the city’s tourism development.

The airline will operate three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, utilizing Boeing 737-700 aircraft with a capacity of 126 passengers. Round trip fares start from US$340, inclusive of taxes.

Flight schedules will see departures from Panama at 11:39, arriving in Santiago de los Caballeros at 15:10 (local time). Departures from Cibao International Airport are scheduled for 16:01, with arrivals at Tocumen at 17:47 (local time).
