Puerto Plata will receive 30 cruise ships in July
SANTO DOMINGO – During the month of July of this year a total of 30 cruise ships will continue to arrive at the ports of the province of Puerto Plata.
“Puerto Plata continues to receive an important number of cruise ships in spite of the fact that this tourist sector is in the months of its low season”, expressed the northern regional director of Tourism, Atahualpa Paulino.
Paulino said that those who enter through cruise ships arriving in the Bride of the Atlantic boost the economy.
Meanwhile, according to the calendar of the Ministry of Tourism (Mitur), 16 ships will arrive through the Amber Cove terminal, of the Carnival Corporation, in the municipal district of Maimón, and the rest will arrive through the port of Taíno Bay, belonging to the ITM Group company.
