Delta Air Lines program to increase its operations on the Boston – Punta Cana route
Delta Airlines plans to increase the frequencies of its air operations on the Boston – Punta Cana route, as part of its plans for international expansion from this city to the northeast of the United States.
In that sense, Delta Air Lines will continue with the addition of a new service twice a day to Miami starting in December. Likewise, it is expanding with new daily frequencies from the Boston Logan International Airport / Massachusetts Port Authority to destinations such as Orlando, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and, as already mentioned, to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. to increase seasonal service to New Orleans and Sarasota.
Charlie Schewe, director of Delta – Sales of New England has stated: “It has been a tremendous year for Delta in Boston, and we continue to climb with new routes and frequencies, an award-winning service and an industry-leading reliability that distinguishes Delta”.
With these new frequencies, Delta and its partners will offer more than 150 Logan daily departures by March 2020, an increase of 25% compared to 2019, something that had already been raised since Raleigh-Durham was identified two years ago. International and Boston as focal cities, considering increasing their network to several destinations.
