Delta Is Launching New Nonstop Flights to Turks and Caicos
Turks and Caicos has been one of the strongest-performing destinations in the Caribbean since the onset of the pandemic, and now it’s getting another boost from a major airline.
Delta Air Lines is launching a new nonstop service between Minneapolis-St Paul and Providenciales, with flights set to begin on Jan. 20, 2024, local tourism stakeholders confirmed.
The new route will be operating once each week, with service on Saturdays.
The route will operate seasonally, running through at least April 6, according to Delta’s Web site.
Delta will be operating the service on Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 16 seats in first class.
The flights are already on sale.
Delta will become the second carrier to run flights between Minneapolis and Providenciales.
Low-cost carrier Sun Country Airlines first launched its seasonal service between Minneapolis and Provo back in 2021.
