Dominican tourist ports have received 1,535,213 cruise passengers so far in 2023
The figure was released by the Ministry of Tourism when presenting the results of the first eight months of the year.
In the first eight months of the year 2023, 1,535,213 cruise passengers visited the Dominican Republic through its various tourist ports, and last August 119,202, informed the Ministry of Tourism when presenting the results of the first eight months of 2023.
The month of August 2023 registered 114,797 unique cruise passengers, 3,061 via ferry, in 38 ships, 14 ferries, 14 type ships, 38,212 crew members and 41 operations.
Puerto Plata received 102,096 cruise passengers via Amber Cove port 70,793 and via Taíno Bay 31,303.
La Romana received 14,045 cruise passengers and Santo Domingo 3,061. Amber Cove occupied the first position in arrivals, followed by Taíno Bay, La Romana, and Santo Domingo, respectively.
