The Gaming & Technology Expo organization confirmed the second edition of GAT Caribe, which will take place on June 9 and 10, 2022, at The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club, located in the city of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Dominican.

In this sense, José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of 3A Producciones, the event’s organizing company, indicated that the GAT Expo 2022 is being carried out thanks to the support of the Dominican Association of Gaming Casinos and the National Association of Sports Banks, guilds that “they have made their contributions to the construction of the contents suggested by the organization” and that they have summoned their affiliates to be present in the event’s programming.

“GAT Caribe offers all the players in the Dominican industry a neutral annual meeting space with the international sector, and we hope that this will continue to be the mission in the coming years,” he added.

He reported that “the great novelty” of the GAT Caribe 2022 will be the holding of a work table in which members of the Chamber of Deputies and the business community of the Dominican Republic will participate, who hope to debate in its entirety the draft law that reforms the current regulation of games of chance in the country.

For this reason, deputy Luis Henríquez, from the Dominican province of Santo Domingo, seeks to put the bill back under consideration. At GAT Caribe 2022, there will be a detailed presentation and a debate on the legal initiative, in order to reach agreements that can then go to the Congress of that country.

In addition, executive representatives in the Caribbean from various companies such as IGT, Aristocrat, Pronet Gaming, Altenar, EGT Interactive and BMM confirmed their attendance at the business meeting and networking events that will take place from next Wednesday, June 8.
