Grupo Piñero will reopen the Cayo Levantado Resort hotel in the second quarter of 2023
Grupo Piñero has been working on what will be the reopening of the Cayo Levantado Resort hotel, in Samaná, for the second quarter of 2023.
For this reason, Isabel Piñero, Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) of Grupo Piñero, indicated that “it is already a source of satisfaction for all the professionals involved in the project and, of course, it will be a source of pride for the inhabitants of the province” .
“This is because our offer and concept under the motto “Hidden Rhythm” summarizes the essence of what Samaná is: said vital rhythm in synergy with nature and quality of life, a differential rhythm characteristic of Dominican culture that amazes the visitor”, explained to arecoa.com.
He said that “we are proud of the concept that we have given to the project, because it allows us to enhance the environmental environment, show the world the authentic heart of the Dominican Republic and contribute to the economic and social development of the entire area, generating quality jobs with a future.”
“With the concept ‘hidden rhythm’ we want to make it possible to internalize the country’s rhythm, something that Dominicans carry in their DNA and in architecture it is also an element that composes and develops creative design and architectural details,” she added. .
She informed that the concept of the hotel complex will be based on three pillars: Environment, Local Culture and Wellness.
Local culture: integration by incorporating Dominican talent from the area and showing the world the authentic heart of Samaná.
Wellness: from a more inclusive perspective where each space is synonymous with health, good nutrition, calm, sport, relaxation and meeting with oneself.
Environment: being the greatest defenders of the rhythm of nature through, for example, the correct treatment of organic waste (transforming it into energy), reducing the carbon footprint and devoting great efforts to the preservation of flora and fauna, for quote a few. It is here where we must also highlight the efforts in terms of landscaping and the increase in the biodiversity of the key with a view to continuing to be the real natural sanctuary.
“Tourism must lay its foundations in raising awareness among all interest groups, in order to protect our natural environments, make efficient use of resources and encourage others to be part of the solution,” he added.
It is recalled that the hotel complex will have 219 rooms, as well as restaurants and bars that will delight customers, some of them will be internationally renowned and will allow us to enjoy the latest culinary trends.
