Guatemala confirms flights that Arajet will open from Santo Domingo
Francis Argueta, head of the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) of Guatemala, confirmed the air connection between the aforementioned nation and the Dominican Republic with the start of direct flight operations of the Arajet line.
He said that the beginning of the airline’s operations is a unique opportunity to promote tourism between both nations with the attractiveness of very affordable costs, below 200 dollars.
The connection, he argued, will generate more visitors and corporate travel from both sides based on the open skies policy promoted by the government of Alejandro Giammattei.
It is recalled that the first flight of the airline will be on September 15 to Mexico City and will be joined by Monterrey and Cancun. In addition, from the date it will also be flown to Barranquilla, Cali and Cartagena in Colombia; Quito and Guayaquil, in Ecuador; Lima, in Peru; Guatemala City in Guatemala; San Salvador, in El Salvador; Saint Martin, Aruba and Curaçao in the Caribbean.
