HM Hotels expands in the Dominican Republic with the opening of two new hotels

HM Hotels continues with its expansion plan in the Dominican Republic by announcing the opening of two new establishments that have been refurbished to increase their category, bringing the total to five assets in the destination. These are HM Bávaro Beach and HM Alma de Bayahíbe, which will begin operations on November 1.

Both hotels, operated by the Mallorcan chain to date under its whala!hotels brand, are in the process of being refurbished to meet the standards of the HM Hotels brand, according to a press release shared by Ultima Hora.

HM Bávaro Beach will be a 50-room hotel with a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and is intended for adults only. It will be located in Bávaro Beach, in one of the areas with the most leisure activities and shopping centers. And the HM Alma de Bayahibe is located in first line of beach in Bayahíbe, with direct access to the sea and will have 290 rooms also only for adults. This hotel has four restaurants, three a la carte and one buffet.

Thus, HM Hotels adds two new assets to its portfolio in the Caribbean, bringing to five hotels in operation in the destination as of next winter: the two mentioned under the HM Hotels brand and three more under its whala!hotels brand, the whala!Bávaro, whala!Bocachica and whala!urban Punta Cana hotels.

The Horrach Moyá family chain has 14 hotels in Mallorca, 3 of them urban and 11 vacation hotels, as well as 3 hotels in Mexico and 5 in the Dominican Republic.
