Hotels affiliated to Corphotels record more than RD million in the first half of 2023

The hotels registered with the Corporación de Fomento de la Industria Hotelera y Desarrollo del Turismo de la República Dominicana (CORPHOTELS), report for the first half of 2023, a total of RD$66,394,146 for rental payments for hotels, resorts and Plaza El Naranjo.

In the first quarter of 2002 it recorded RD$28,390,039.22 while in the second quarter it collected RD$30,454,582.83 for a total of RD$58,844,622.05, which means that in the first semester of 2023, an additional RD$7,549,525.06 has been collected compared to the previous year.

In the first quarter of 2023, the collection for rental of these properties belonging to the Dominican State was as follows: January with RD$10,704,501.83; February RD$8,881,659.13; March with RD$9,369,714.29 for a total of RD$28,955,875.25 while for the second quarter the collection was: April with RD$8,666,706.00 March with RD$20,164,712.85 June with RD$8,606,653.01, for a total of RD$37,438,271.86, so that for the first semester, as mentioned above, it is RD$66,394,147.11.

The properties that Corphotel has under its administration are: Hotel Jaragua in Santo Domingo; Hotel Cayo Levantado in Samaná; Hotel Cayacoa in Samaná; Hotel Nueva Suiza in Constanza; Hotel Novus Caoba in Valverde; Hotel Guarocuya in Barahona; Hotel Matum in Santiago; Hotel Nicolas de Ovando in the Colonial City in Santo Domingo and Hotel Maguana in San Juan de la Maguana, in addition to Complejo Ecoturístico La Mansión, Complejo Vacacional Ercilia Pepin and Plaza El Naranjo.
