Jamaica’s Legendary Geejam Studios Is Open Again
It’s hosted everyone from Amy Winehouse to Grace Jones to Drake, and now Jamaica’s legendary Geejam Studios is open again.
The studio, set at the popular Geejam Hotel, has completed a major renovation to mark 25 years as a top recording studio on the island.
The revamped studio has new, state-of-the-art equipment and tech, with a 900-square-foot space featuring floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing Port Antonio’s natural beauty. There’s also a rooftop bar and lounge for respites between takes.
Geejam also offers recording studio setups in each of its private luxury villas, along with pools, chef’s kitchens and extensive art, book and vinyl collections.
That includes both the six-bedroom Cocosan Villa and the four-bedroom Panorama Villa.
Geejam is set about two hours from Kingston by car, and 3.5 hours from Montego Bay.
Geejam was recently named one of the Caribbean’s top hotels for music history. You can find more here.
