Katmandú Park Punta Cana closes its doors
Punta Cana.- One year after its grand opening, Katmandú Park Punta Cana is set to close its doors. A statement released on Thursday morning assures that while the commercial stores and restaurant will continue to operate, the theme park itself will be shutting down immediately. The post, shared on the official website and social media channels, mentions that they are now considering the “future use of the property.”

Katmandú Park Punta Cana, inaugurated in February 2023 in an event led by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, was backed by an investment exceeding $60 million, as reported at the time. The theme park showcased groundbreaking rides and attractions, offering guests a unique experience in The Hidden Realms of Kathmandu, the company’s original and proprietary franchise.
