Korean investors show interest in new airport in Pedernales

A delegation from the Korea Airport Corporation (KAC), interested in knowing the details about the construction project of the Cabo Rojo international airport in Pedernales, paid a visit to Víctor Pichardo, director of the Airport Department.

The investors were received together with representatives of the state company Kotra (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), an organization that is in charge of the promotion and investment of trade in Korea, and representatives of the aforementioned embassy in the Dominican Republic.

After learning about the progress of the DA projects, the delegation showed its experience in airport operation, construction and design, as reported by the DA through its social networks.

“Upon learning about the Pedernales project, they described the construction of that international terminal as essential, to continue promoting the country’s tourism development,” they added.
