Bogotá, Colombia, February 29, 2024.- La Quinta by Wyndham is the new international brand that will arrive in Puerto Plata to provide 115 new rooms to that destination on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, immediately creating 200 new direct jobs in its phase of construction.

This was announced here within the framework of the ANATO Vitrina tourism fair, businessman Edward De Valle, CEO of the De Valle Group, exclusive owner of the La Quinta franchise along with other brands by Wyndham in the country.

“What better setting to announce the construction of our La Quinta Puerto Plata hotel, in this La Vitrina de ANATO fair, where the Dominican Republic dedicates its participation to the destination that saw the birth of tourism on that beautiful Caribbean island,” said De Valle, make the announcement at the Dominican stand.

He recalled that with this 2024 opening the La Quinta by Wyndham brand will arrive in the country.

The hotel will feature 115 rooms, a lobby bar, a restaurant, co-working and meeting spaces, a well-equipped wellness center and a swimming pool.

“We are here at ANATO as a way to support Puerto Plata and taking into account that Colombia has become one of the main tourist destinations to the Dominican Republic after the United States and Canada,” said De Valle.
