Margaritaville Holds Grand Opening for New Belize Resort
Margaritaville has held the grand opening for its newest Caribbean resort: the Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye, Belize.
The 55-suite resort, which can only be reached by boat, held its soft opening earlier this year.
The opening ceremony included appearances by Belize Prime Minister John Briceño and the Belize Tourism Board, among others.
“We were honored to welcome these esteemed guests to Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye, Belize to officially celebrate the property’s grand opening,” said Kenya Guzman, General Manager. “We’re incredibly thankful to our partners who have worked with us to open this stunning adventure hideaway.”
The resort, set just north of the town of San Pedro, has 55 suites, two bars, two pools and a signature St Somewhere Spa, among other amenities.
The resort’s residential-style suites come in either one, two or three-bedroom configurations, all with oversized terraces.
A haven for snorkeling, it’s set on the second larges coral reef system in the world.
The property was was developed by Bowen & Bowen.
It’s part of a growing Caribbean portfolio for Margaritaville, one that also includes the Margaritaville Beach Resort Riviera Maya in the Mexican Caribbean, which opened its doors over the summer.
