Mayor’s Office appoints Frank Rainieri as Santo Domingo’s tourism mentor

Santo Domingo – At Mayor Carolina Mejía’s request, the Council of Aldermen of the National District approved the designation of businessman Frank Rainieri as a tourism mentor for Santo Domingo.

This is an honorary support in matters related to the tourism sector that Rainieri will offer to the city.

In a ceremony held at the Palacio Consistorial, the outstanding businessman was presented with a parchment, a gift, and a vest with his name, identifying his association with the Mayor’s Office of the National District.

The founder of the Puntacana Group thanked the recognition and pledged to contribute his knowledge to increase the flow of visitors to the city of Santo Domingo.

Rainieri and Mayor Mejia had a relaxed conversation about various aspects of the city, including its potential and the number of tourists visiting.

His wife, Haydée Kuret de Rainieri, and his son, Frank Elías Rainieri, attended the event. José Ignacio Paliza, Administrative Minister of the Presidency, also attended.

Also in attendance were Yovany Moya, president of the Council of Aldermen; Sina del Rosario, technical secretary of the DN Mayor’s Office; Víctor González, Beatriz González, Ana González, and Alicia Torres.
