Meliá highlights successful working day at DATE 2023

Meliá Hotels International highlighted the success of the working sessions held by the chain during the last DATE 2023 trade fair, with more than 55 business appointments scheduled.

Francisco Camps, general director of Meliá Hotels in the Dominican Republic, indicated that in addition to working tables, other appointments were held at the stand, as well as more than 35 scheduled inspection visits to important tour operators and related parties, where the qualities and properties of the Meliá world in the country and its new development projects were shown.

“The support for the chain’s development and growth projects is mainly due to the worldwide recognition of its tourism and hotel services, continuous innovation and the vision of its main executives and investors who maintain confidence in the growth and direction of local tourism, thanks to the excellent management of the Ministry of Tourism and its head, David Collado,” he added.

The Meliá chain also shared its projection through more than 30 business meetings with local and international wholesalers who attended the event, considered the most important of its kind.
