Ministry of Tourism launches new version Turizoneando

SANTO DOMINGO , RD July 4, 2023.- The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, launched this Tuesday the new version “Turizoneando”, a proposal for cultural activities that takes place in the Colonial City as part of the Tourism project in Every Corner.

Minister Collado highlighted the importance of this program for strengthening the promotion of the Colonial City as a tourist destination.

“Today we are here again, presenting this new version of Turizoneando, a cultural proposal that has already become a tradition for those who visit the Colonial City,” said the official.

He affirmed that the historic Colonial City is experiencing a splendid moment, since it has the “best cultural and gastronomic proposal that can exist in a tourist destination.”

The project is an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism and the Santo Domingo Tourism Cluster, accompanied by allies such as the Santo Domingo Hotel Association, Aderes, Azocol, and also actively integrates the community.

This platform of experiences is made with each member of the family, local and foreign visitors in mind. In addition, its purpose is to boost the economy of the area and create tourist-cultural attractions.

The project seeks that the different cultural manifestations are present, promoting the appreciation of history and art, characteristic of our Primacy of America.

In this year 2023, as an innovation, a web platform has been developed where you can download via QR code so that you can see all the details of the schedule of actions.

The fourth version of Turizoneando takes place from July 1 to September 3, summer option, developing various activities in different spaces of the Colonial City, Saturdays and Sundays, throughout the day.

While, the winter version will run from November 26, 2023 to January 7, 2024. Turizoniando has developed 3 executions, the first being in 2021.
