Riu Just Relaunched This Cancun All-Inclusive Resort
Riu Hotels and Resorts has relaunched one of its top all-inclusive resorts after what the company called a “complete refurbishment.”
The Riu Caribe has reopened after several months of renovations, one that included new looks for the common areas, restaurants and guest rooms.
The renovation covered the lobby, lobby bar, rooms, restaurants, and the poolscape.
That included a new-look lobby with a “greater sense of openness,” according to the company.
The rooms now have “soft, elegant tones,” replacing the navy blue of the past, along with “subdued lighting.”
As for the resort’s restaurants, the have all gotten new color schemes and furnishings.
The biggest amenity change is the pool areas: the Riu Caribe now has four different pools, up from what had been just one.
One pool has a swim-up bar, another is exclusively for kids and the other two are family-friendly.
