The Ministry of Tourism forms Tourism Safety Board in Jarabacoa

With the objective of implementing public policies that benefit the tourism sector in Jarabacoa, the Ministry of Tourism formed this Thursday the Tourist Safety Committee, which was attended by representatives of various institutions, who pledged to work hard to strengthen the protection and security of tourists in this mountainous area.

At the meeting, the director of Tourism in the northern part of the country, Atahualpa Paulino, said that this meeting seeks to formalize the businesses that offer tourist services, as well as to train, orient and accredit the guides related to the sector, to make a survey of the priority works and to coordinate actions to improve the traffic. The Tourist Security Committee is composed of representatives of institutions and various sectors of the society of the municipality of Jarabacoa, who will follow up to work together and strengthen the tourist growth of the municipality of Jarabacoa.
