This Turks and Caicos Hotel Just Reopened After an Upgrade
Turks and Caicos’ The Somerset on Grace Bay hotel has officially reopened for the season, following property-wide upgrade project.
The 53-villa resort just completed a “refresh” including upgrades or total refurbishments to many of the rooms, including new state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, enhanced minibars and facelifts to the common areas, including the lobby.
“We are thrilled to offer our guests a refreshed version of the beloved Somerset on Grace Bay,” said Joseph Haviv, owner of the resort. “We are confident that these resort upgrades and new programming will enhance and create unforgettable experiences for those spending time on the island.”
The Somerset also has some new amenities, highlighted by the option of “parent survival kits” to help travelers with children. The kits feature books by local authors, coloring books and crayons, bath toys, beach toys and portable snacks.
The hotel has even put white-noise machines and nightlights as part of the package.
