Dominican Republic promotes its destinations in Tampa and Orlando

OPT Orlando and Hodelpa Hotels hold face-to-face meetings with travel agents.

The Orlando Tourism Promotion Office (OPT), together with Hodelpa Hotels, held their first face-to-face event with travel agents since the start of the pandemic in this city and Tampa. These initiatives are part of multisectoral efforts to drive the revival of the industry.

The lunches-presentations called “Dominican Republic Awaits You” seek to reconnect and update the attendees on the news of the destination, implemented protocols and the new entry and exit requirements to the country (E-Ticktet).

For her part, Sandra Becerra, Agent’s Concierge director of Hodelpa Hotels, made a dynamic presentation on the Hodelpa Group properties including Emotions Juan Dolio, Emotions Puerto Plata, Hotel Nicolás de Ovando and Novus, highlighting their attractions and their incentive plan for Travel Agents .

The event also had the participation of Carlos Courtaux from YES Travel who shared with the attendees details of the different packages and offers available to the Caribbean country regarding the arrival of summer, as well as direct services from Orlando, FL. to Santo Domingo and Punta Cana with Frontier and Spirit Airlines.
