Ponant Extends Flexible Booking Program Through End of May
Ponant extended its flexible booking program through the end of May, according to a statement published on the company’s website.
Originally announced for bookings in April, the “Serenity Policy” allows guests to change or postpone their cruises with no penalty.
According to the company, the policy is now valid for all bookings made between April 1, 2026, and May 31, 2026.
As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, Ponant is allowing guests to modify their travel plans free of charge.
Deposits paid at the time of the bookings remain final and non-refundable, but under the new policy, they may be transferred.
Guests will be able to change their bookings multiple times if they want, following a set of conditions, including date restrictions.
Requests must be submitted no later than 90 days prior to the original departure date, while the new cruise must take place within the same calendar year as the initial sailing or earlier.
New bookings are also subject to availability and must have an equal or higher fare than the cruise initially booked.
There are no guarantees regarding pricing, the company explained.
Ponant also said that the deposit is transferable and may be assigned to a third party, as long as specific conditions are met.
The policy does not cover flights, pre- and post-cruise transportation, insurance, visas and any other land-based or additional services.
Part of the Ponant Explorations Group, the company operates a 12-ship fleet in itineraries and expeditions around the world.
In addition to the brand, the group also includes Paul Gauguin and Aqua Expeditions, which are also covered by the program.
