PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC– Puntacana Resort & Club today announced that ten of the Resort properties and services received the TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence. Now in its eighth year, the achievement celebrates businesses that have consistently achieved great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, restaurants and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

The properties have received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence are: La Cana Golf Course, which enters the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame, an award held by those establishments that manage to maintain the Certification for 5 consecutive years. There are also Bamboo, La Yola, Playa Blanca and The Grill restaurants; Four Points by Sheraton Puntacana Village, The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club and the exclusive Tortuga Bay Hotel; in addition the Ojos Indígenas Ecological Reserve and the Six Senses Spa Puntacana Resort & Club.

The Certificate of Excellence takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
